by AlanJones Fri Jan 31, 2014 3:28 pm
This is a fake au pair job scam. There is no job, just a scammer looking to steal your money.

Hello Nanny,

My name is Gurdeep Parvesh. I got your contact from eaupair.com. We are Indian family living in Canada. We require the services of a nanny to take care of our daughter.

That is why i am writing you this email. Please if you are interested to work for my family here in Canada, kindly write me back with your updated resume.

Hope to hear from you.

Gurdeep Parvesh.

How are you today? I have read your email properly, and also gone through your resume. Let us start with a little introduction. My name is Gurdeep Parvesh. I am an Indian Citizen living and working here in Quebec Canada. I live with my wife and my daughter. My wife is a nurse here also. Because of our daily busy schedule, we do not have enough time to look after our daughter.

That is why we require your service as a nanny to help us take care of our daughter when we are not at home. I do not really know how this things works, but i believe you have some experience. Also you will be living together with us here. You will have your own apartment in my house. Kindly let us know what the basic salary is monthly for a nanny. Tomorrow i wish to Visit the Immigration center here to make enquiries on how to get you here. Meanwhile, i wish to know more about you. Your real names, your country of origin and a little explanation about your experience with children.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Warm Regards.

Gurdeep Parvesh.

Hope you are doing well today? I have gone through your email properly. I am also sorry for my late response. Had a busy day. We need an Au pair as soon as possible because of our busy schedule. Yesterday i visited the immigration solicitors, they informed me that we need an agreement letter for proof that you are coming to Canada for the purpose of work and not tour.

They also promised to make the arrangement as soon as possible. With regards to the salary, we have been advised to pay you USD1,600(One thousand six hundred United States Dollars) monthly. We would like to know few more things about your experience with children. On Monday our contract agreement letter would be ready. As soon as i receive the agreement letter, i will forward it to you for you to go through it properly.

But before then, I have few more questions. What are your plans for future? How well do you speak English Language? How many years did you study it? How do you feel about leaving your family? How were you disciplined as a child? How do you discipline children? What type of relationship do you have with your family?

How do they feel about you coming to us? How large is your hometown? What do you enjoy most about working with children? What do you find most challenging? What do you consider are your qualities with regard to looking after children? Do you have any dietary restrictions? Is there any type of food you don’t eat? Do you smoke? How often? Do you drive? How often? Do you have an International Driver’s License? Do you like pets? Can you cook/iron? What type of household chores do you do in your home? How would you like to spend your free time?

Kindly get back to me as soon as you can.

Warm Regards.

Gurdeep Parvesh.
