I received a scam where the perp attempted to get me to run fraudulent orders using what I believe would have been stolen credit cards. I posted on 419eaters hoping to bait this person but since they have "real world" information on me I was advised to simply ignore the person which I've done. I was hoping to at least be able to extract some credit card numbers and then report them. But, I decided to take the advice offered on 419eaters and ignore this person.

Here is all the information I have about this lad.

Contacted me about providing services using text messages from the number (702) 663 8056. English seemed suspect but I've trained non English speakers before so that was not a huge red flag. Did not ask questions typical of someone getting this type of training. The number has a Las Vegas area code so I called it to find it was a text only number. Prior to becoming suspicious I had provided my company email address so I could send a quote. Sent a quote at an inflated rate and asked for 100% payment up front. The scammer quickly agreed but asked me to charge an additional "$1500 for the driver and after charging my card you will deposit the $1500 via bank deposit and I want this favor due to my undergo surgery and i will be glad you help me with that thanks and stay bless"

So now I know this is a scam for sure. Here is the email address associated with all correspondence.

[email protected]

The person originally referred to themselves in text messages as "Cool Jenny" but later morphed into "James Jenny." Interestingly enough there seem to be several people going as Cool Jenny or Jenny Cool on social media based out of Nigeria.

They seem to be bulk mailing people in my line of work because there was a partial message from one of my competitors in an email sent by the perp..

The person appears to have given up on me and moved on to other potential victims.

Welcome to Scamwarners,

The people at 419eater are correct. The scammer has obtained stolen credit card information. He wants you to to convert it into cash. He will make pretend orders and have you forward money to his fake shipper/agent.

I will move this to Email Targeting Businesses in a few minutes.

Please stop all contact with the scammer and ignore any future emails/text he may send you.

Please contacta moferatorstor if you have a question or information about this post.

Please do not tell the scammer he is posted here.
