Hi, i've just saved myself a ton of time, and money by not continuing to communicate with a scammer that i thought was a legitimate offer to buy products from my company. I thought i would google the address given to me and try to research if this was a scam b/c it was starting to seem fishy and one of scamwarners posts came up when i googled the address and it totally convinced me to be part of this forum. Since someone took the time to post this scam on this forum, it has reassured my suspicions and i don't have to spend any more time communicating with this scammer.
I am posting my email communication here so that it gets tagged and other people can be saved from this scammer.
1. I get an email from this email address: [email protected]
2. He says that he wants to order some candle holders from my company, totaling $3200 without shipping charges.
3. He agrees to pay upfront and wants me to contact "unique line shipping company" to get a shipping quote.
The address of the shipping is Bryson Home
Jeppahalla Ljud. Storgatan 4,
S-599 33, Odeshog
Sweden
4. I tell him that i would need a advance payment upfront in order to begin this large shipping order.
5. I don't hear back from him for a few days so i decide to google this address. this is when this forum came up and someone posted exactly the same scam. So thank you and i felt like it was my obligation to do the same so someone else can find this post.
