I unfortunately fell victim to a similar scam. I received this email:

I wrote back detailing information etc.
He responded with the shipping part:
Unfortunately, I was in our yearly all day sales meetings over the course of three days and was very busy and distracted so I was not paying as much attention as I normally would, I was also having our admin do some of the corresponding. At the point of receiving this email, I was suspicious but again was focused elsewhere.
But when he sent the following email I knew this was a scam:
Unfortunately our admin had already processed the credit cards he provided but we immediately refunded the full amount and I contacted him explaining we can not wire a payment to a company we don't use or have a working relationship with. To my surprise, this didn't stop them. They called the office 8 times in less then a few hours!! Pestering me to contact their freight company and make payment. This was coupled with similar emails. At this point I had contacted the FBI and their ICS (internet crimes section) and filed a report. I was told, however, that they receive thousands of reports every week and subsequently cant investigate all of them. I felt better after filing the report though and I'm glad I took the time to do so. Anyway, I sent a final email saying we can not use that freight company and if you want to proceed with another that's fine. I never heard back.
Honestly, it's just amazing to me these people are still our their pulling this bs. It's also surprising to me how they get away with it and how more are not caught. It's just a shame all around. Anyway I hope people see this and aren't fooled. Luckily, we refunded the charges the same day and hadn't ordered any extra material yet so it could have been a lot worse, but I have to say my pride and work ethic is hurt as I feel so bad for falling for this off hand and putting the company at risk. I'm just happy I caught it when I did.

You can pay by Bank Transfer to the below -account information .Freight quotation include wire transfer fee.
