Be very very careful when dealing with Alpha Bank Cyprus.

My colleague was going to buy a BG (Bank Guarantee) from DB via Alpha Bank, he was apparently dealing with the MD there, all of his emails and his colleagues were from the the CORRECT Alpha Bank email address and he had a phone call using the number from the Alpha Bank website.

But after a final check with their compliance Dept he found it was a scam form E 50 K

[email protected] & [email protected] appear to be legitimate email addresses, but it is difficult to get full WhoIs details. Are you certain that the emails were sent from and replied-to at these addresses and they weren't just spoofed to look like they were and the address below was actually used?

[email protected] is a fake email address and nothing to do with the real bank.

A legitimate bank would not register its domain in the name of an individual, using a free email address.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

They are NOT using a free email address, it is as per the website

That isn't what I said. The domain alpha-bank-cy.com is a fake - it is registered using a free email address ([email protected]).

A quick search for [email protected] shows that the email has been used to register other known fake domains allianceoffshoremonetary.com and royalservltd.com

And has a load of other fake looking domains registered to his email address

1. billing-update-centre.com
2. bog-gvt.com
3. cc-cola.net
4. centrebillingupdate-co.com
5. confidencesecuritylimited.com
6. confidencesecurityltd.com
7. diamondbnk-nig.com
8. fed-exintl.com
9. fedex-int.com
10. first-horizonbk.com
11. firsthorizonbk.com
12. fradrilloilservices.com
13. rbsgrouponline.com
14. royalbkscotland.com
15. updatebilling-centre.com

I guess having their scam posted here is hurting the dumb scammers behind this scam's income.
