[email protected]

I received a "warning" by email today from the above address.

Mentions the name of a scammer, but does not reveal the email address.

Hey heywoodjscamme, [email protected] is definitely one of our warners, but I can't seem to find the user responsible. Did they give a name? Your best bet is to reply to the email with any questions you have.

Are you in contact with anyone who is A) trying to give you money, B) trying to buy something from you, C) trying to sell something to you, or D) trying to give you a job. If so, they are probably the person/s that the warning is describing.

That would be me :)

The scammer that you are referring to is "Scott Pitts" a known craigslist scammer.

He has more e-mail addresses than I can shake a stick at. This is because craigslist will only let one e-mail address use the <Contact Advertiser> function so many times in a given period.
