Hi Catlover, welcome to Scamwarners.

Unfortunately i hold little hope that you will receive the kind of service you would like to expect but there is a consolation, you will eventually receive your goods.

Most of the companies and websites mentioned at Scamwarners will not go that far and only take your money so it could have been much worse.

Please do keep us posted and if you have any questions please ask

Hi, please add me to the (long) list of grumpy petfood247 customers. I ordered Frontline ($90.99) from this company on 27/5/2010 and it did not arrive within the 3 day delivery as indicated my the site. I tried emailing and phoning with no luck, then sent another, more forcible email stating they had 48 hours to respond or I would take action. I receieved an email straight away stating my order had been dispatched (9/06/2070), yet again it has not arrived and today (16/06/2010) I find this site, which I REALLY wish I had found before I placed an order with this clown.

Today I've sent this email :
----------------------------------
Hi,

Again my order has not been delivered within the 3 day delivery time. I have researched your company on the website viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4422&start=90 it looks like I am definitely not alone when it comes to dodgy service from petfood247.
I am following the advice on the Scamwarners site and lodging complaints with all of the relevant bodies and contacting my bank to reverse the transaction. I am also listing a review of my experience with your company on every possible site I can find to hopefully save a few people the trouble of dealing with you.

If it "really" has been dispatched this time, I'd like a tracking number supplied so I can check for myself.

You really need to get your act together, your so called "service" is an embarassment Mr McDuff.
------------------

Lets hope my email initiates some type of response from this guy as knee jerk reactions appear to be his speciality. From this experience I have learnt to a) ALWAYS google a company for reviews before handing over cash and b) Use PayPal, it's got the power to get your money back when things go wrong, and easier than through bank channels.

I too have ordered from Petfood 247 and have not received my order. It has been three weeks now and no response from emails. I had previously ordered twice without a problem. Wish I had read these reviews first. Won't ever use this company again. Wondering if I will get my order at all? Have tried the contact email and phone numbers supplied by others on scam warners - no reply.

Yikes!!! Like everyone before me has said I wish I'd search these ***&&&&*** before placing over $200 order. I only placed order on Monday and accidentally ordered the wrong size in something so emailed them and then tried to phone and then alarm bells started to ring when I received NO reply and the mobile number says the voicemail box is full - I bet its full - full of complaints. I agree - these guys need to be put out of business. I'm about to email them again threatening them with all sorts of action (I'm really not sure what action I can take). My credit card company said to wait a bit longer and then they said they can help me get a refund. I'm usually so careful with these sites but this time I got carried away with the price of the Houndhouse I wanted and blindly ordered not really seeing there was only a PO Box and mobile phone number - I guess I've got myself to blame. This site, however, has proved very helpful. If anyone else has any advice I'd really appreciate hearing it. I'm hoping that I will receive the goods eventually.

An update!

My goods arrived on Wednesday morning. 13 days after ordering and 3 days after it had been dispatched. Only half the items were there and there was a cheque for the items not available due to water damage at warehouse??.... still waiting to see if bounces or not. The cheque was incorrect though by $6.99 so I have asked for that to be refunded. Probably wouldn't have bothered if the goods had been delivered in 3 days like advertised but under the circumstances couldn't let that slide.

Hang in there, I assume goods do turn up eventually - but maybe not everything and maybe only if you have to threaten further action which is unfortunate.

Thanks Melissa. I just sent them a very "strong" email demanding immediate despatch of goods or refund. Stay tuned.

Thanks for the update mellissa.

Hi Smell, welcome to Scamwarners :D

Try to look on the bright side as looking on the dull side only will only cause further frustration, you have learnt a lesson that is no doubt inconvenient but does not need to cost you money. You have also found out about us so if you ever receive a suspicious email you can ask us about it.

Well, it could have been worse ;)

I purchased from them in Jan 2010 and the goods did arrive after a three week wait.

I have a current undelivered order dated 2nd June and have tried unsuccessfully to contact the company.

I just sent an email to [email protected] threatening action, so here's hoping I wont have to do that.

I think the company shows symptoms of financial pressures. Receiving payment weeks before they order the goods is one way to get interest free finance.

Hi Ken,
What you have suggested would make sense, most stores order and pay for goods that sit on their shelves until they are sold, in this case it would seem he waits until he gets an order and then orders it himself.

There would be nothing wrong with doing that and it will help him keep prices low, except for the fact he is promising a 3 day delivery. If he told you he had a 3 week delivery policy, would you still order from him? I guess some would to save some money but most wouldn't, I certainly wouldn't.

Hi I wish I knew about this website before I ordered from www.Petfood247.com.au.I placed an order on 7th June 2010 and like everyone else I have heard nothing as yet.I've sent four emails so far and I've contacted my bank. I won t make the same mistake twice.

Hi paulnjanet, welcome to Scamwarners.

I always try and look for the positives when I can, in this case, going by past experience, you should only have another week to wait .

They certainly do have a large line of disgruntled customers
by kenrussell Mon Jun 21, 2010 12:18 am
Their website shows that my goods have not been posted as of today - that's 19 days since they took my money

I bit the bullet today and lodged a disputed claim with my bank.

There is no excuse for treating paying customers in this way :x
by Ralph Mon Jun 21, 2010 12:27 am
Please dont think I am making excuses for him, there is no excuse, you can understand anybody can have a bad day but this guy has been having a bad year and expecting his customers to stick with him through it.

You wouldn't want to take a chance after what is posted here.

Good luck with getting sorted Ken, it shouldn't be too much longer now

I'm another unhappy customer of petfood247! I bought a cat water fountain and cat scratcher from them on the 10th of June. A few days later I thought I'd ring them to find out when I should expect it, and like most of the others here, quickly realized something was wrong when the phone went straight to a message bank telling me it was full. I got on to google, found some bad reviews elsewhere, contacted my bank immediately and put in a disputed transaction report. Then I found this site and see that I am not the only one waiting on goods from them!

I've emailed them this morning threatening to report them to Fair Trading etc if the goods didn't arrive, told them I'd disputed the transaction with my bank and that I'd remove the dispute if I got the goods before it was finalized. They have not replied.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to post their experiences with this company. What a stupid way to run a business...why don't they just do like other sites and say the stuff is out of stock and give an estimated delivery date....and get a WORKING contact number and answer it.

I'll let you all know what happens.

My order, placed on 31/5/2010 and paid using credit card has NOT been received. I have emailed many times and tried to phone. Out of 8 attempts by phone, only the once was I able to leave a message. Message bank full was the reply! Why bother one may ask! They never reply to any emails, or phone calls
Having read other posts I am beginning to realise my chances of receiving my paid for item will more than likely never materialise!!
I do like the convenience of online shopping for particular items and thought this purchase was very simple.
NOT FOR PETFOOD247 THOUGH!!!
How can any person expect to run a business when they are not prepared to be HONEST in their dealings and with their online customers :?: To accept payment inclusive of courier charges - (no courier company mentioned of course to be able to check on delivery dates or times) makes for a SCAM OPERATION :!:
A very impressive web site - very convincing in fact, with a good array of merchandise - BUY IT THOUGH,PAY YOUR MONEY BUT IT NEVER ARRIVES :!:
It is possible to buy online from the United States or England and receive your purchase here in Sydney,Australia in just a few days.
Bangor, the advertised address for this seller is quite local to Sydney,so one would expect with all advertised products supposedly available (according to their web site) delivery would be very prompt.
Do not waste your time looking for a good price with petfood247 - better to pay more and be assured of delivery.
Give 'PETFOOD247' the FLICK - too risky for honest people!!! :yikes:
