Ralph, thankyou for your succinct summary of the situation, and for representing those of us who sought resolution through this forum.

To Liz, my condonlences on your personal situation, however it is unreasonable to expect understanding & tolerance when treated with indifference. A suggestion would be to follow through with a posting to your website, no doubt your business has suffered much damage through 'word of mouth'.

Hi again,
The Office of Fair Trading contacted me over a week ago advising me that they had spoken to Petfood247 and they were refunding me the money within 48 hours. HA HA. It didn't happen. Then I received an email from Petfood247 stating that my order has been despatched. That was a week ago. HA HA. Not received. I have purchased the item from another site and received it very quickly. I have no use for two of these. Still waiting for my refund and have emailed [email protected]. I will keep you posted. Tracy

I thought I was alone in being scammed by this so called company. I ordered $70 worth of product on 25 June and received an official looking receipt. I waited patiently for a week but nothing and have since sent two emails but like so many others I heard nothing. Today I emailed to cancel my order and requested a refund. Tonight I searched to see if the company was mentioned on the net as a scam and found this forum. How does this (removed offensive word - Ralph) continue to get away with his con. I will be talking to my bank and consumer affairs and will update this site when anything happens. Has anybody flagged this guy to ACA ot Today Tonight?

Hi Antipodes, welcome to Scamwarners.

I always like to look at the positives when I can and the positive for you is that today we had somebody stop by who claims to be working for petfood247.

If you were to post a question here or go back to the previous page you will see where she has given an email address for you to contact to have your concerns addressed.

While I understand your frustration, I do need to ask that you keep your comments civil :wink:

I completely understand how you would be feeling at the moment which is why I have been bought back in to help with the work load. I was previously the assistant manager but due to maternity leave ceased work last year. My goal is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction and to help in any way possible. I do greatly apologize for the late arrival of your parcel but if you do decide to do business with us in the future I will try to reach your satisfactory needs :)

Somehow I suspect Zeus may not be so quick to purchase goods through your website any time soon.

Liz, would you mind when replying to peoples posts, dont quote the complete post you are replying to, especially if that post is back just one or 2 posts, it tends to clutter the forum and it gives us moderators something else to do which we are not so keen on when there are so many other things we could be doing instead.

If i wanted to reply to a specic part of one of your previous posts for instance I would do this;

Lizmarie offered this as an excuse
As you must be aware it is end of financial year and stock is hard to get hold of


While I understand that may make things busy for you, it does not explain why petfood247 has had lousy service for the last 12 months, the end of financial year can only be considered to be at the end of the financial year ;)

Liz, you already replied to Zeus just a couple of posts back.

I really am happy that you are communicating with your customers on behalf of petfood247 and especially at 920 pm, it shows great commitment to sorting out the problems faced by your customers so well done for that.

May I offer a suggestion though, get peoples orders / refunds to them and appologise to your customers for the lousy service they have endured in bulk.

As I suggested earlier, posting here is nice but I must say that so far without any actions to back up your words it just looks like lip service.

Trust me here, I am trying to help you to rectify the situation

I Have just commenced work again for this company and i am taking care of customer service and complaints so feel free to email at any time and i will get back to you as soon as possible.
At the present moment the email address on the website will not be sending replies due to it being after hours however my email will be open 24/7 for customer enquiries.
