I sent an email to petfood247 telling them I had disputed the payment that was on my credit card b/c I had not received any goods and all my attempts to chase it up with petfood247 had failed. The next day I got an email saying my goods had been dispatched (mind you this order was a month old). Guess what - the goods turned up yesterday. He is either dodgy or the worst business person in the world. . . . .

I wished I had checked this website before purchasing......I purchased $133.00 of sentinel spectrum on the 06/10/10 and still no goods and no response to follow up emails and phone calls. I have currently filled out a complaint with the NSW Office of Fair Trading. I even sent this to petfood247 as they have left with me with no option. Pathetic service - businesses like this should not be able to trade!!!!!

Well, it looks like I join the ranks of being a victim of this website however, I did receive my 180.00 order from the 23-August 2010 after some time. But my problem is that one of the products I purchased from him is faulty and he won't return my emails, messages.
Surely, he is not out of pocket too much to provide a refund, the manufacturer will provide a warranty. I have emailed him one last time advising I will lodge a complaint with the office of fair trading if he doesn't respond.
I rang the office of Fair Trading today and they are still investigating the company.

They got me too :(

I placed an order in September for $400 worth of pet food, it still hasn't arrived.

I called them to ask where it was and they don't return my calls :(

I have contacted my bank to do a dispute, thankfully I am with ANZ and they are easy to dispute transactions with and always favor the consumer, unlike Westpac who make you jump through hoops and always side with the merchant.

I've been done just like the rest of you 16th October 2010.

I called the ACCC & they informed me that the company Petfood247 has been in receivership for quite some time now & should not be accepting any money or trading. This is in convention of Section 58 of the trade practices act! The ACCC informed me they will follow up the breach.

I have placed a dispute with my credit card providor & ordered new cards.

It's not the loss of the money that riles me!!!!!!

I've just checked on the Australian Business Register look-up site and the company petfood247 is till shown as active.

I'm a little surprised they can continue to trade from all the negative comments all over the internet about them. One lady is trying to get their website registration cancelled and another has got their ad deleted from a shopping site and someone else even referred them to Google over their alleged use of ad words. The amount of negativity is quite incredible.

In this thread one guy claims he just mentioned the company name to his bank and they immediately re-credited his account. Don't count on it being this easy but it's harder for a re-claim to be rebutted when the situation is like this.

Hi All, I place my order on 4th Oct 10, yes you guessed it I'm still waiting, I have sent another not so nice email again tonight stating that I will reporting to Dept Fair Trading so I will just wait and see what happens from here. I do know one thing, I will never deal with them again

I registered a dispute with my credit card banker, sent copies of emails I had sent this firm (some of which had bounced), plus the original email confirming my order, amount, what it was for, etc. [None of which I ever got.]

I have now got a letter from my bank saying the transaction has been reversed and the money refunded to my account. Yay!

Sometimes the system works :) :)

Also I got this transaction reversed rather sooner than I had been led to expect so perhaps the bank found out something about this so-called 'trader'.

PS I also gave my bank the url of this site and I have no doubt that helped them in their inquiries.

OK. I guess I'm the latest to get suckered-in by this guy. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait a "reasonable" amount of time to see if I actually get anything for the money this guy has already charged me. Like everyone else, I've tried the unsuccessful emails and phone calls to the mobile and left voice mails after the message that specifically refers to "Orders that have not been received". Boy! What does THAT tell you!?!
I've had to go out and pay as much again for the pet food and medication I already ordered and paid for through this guy.
I have already called the ACCC, ASIC & Fair Trading & my bank, but it is going to take some time to recover the money at a time when it is critical to both me and my pets.
I was told that he is NOT in receivership. His ABN 26215935282 is still active.
Has anyone who has been in the battle with Mr. McDuff for longer than me thought of going to A CURRENT AFFAIR or some other news organisation? This isn't the first business he has run at the expense of people who trusted him to deliver what he advertised and there is only so much Fair Trade can do.
Even if they get him to stop this business, there is nothing to stop him from setting up shop under a diferent name, just as he did this time. (Maybe a pack of reporters camped on his front lawn there in Bangor, NSW would wake him up and encourage to do the right thing, which is to either: Give customers their money back or send them their merchandise.
It might also make him think twice about setting up "virtual shop" again.
I would be willing to support it, and I would even initiate it, but it hasn't been long enough for me to make an appropiate impact, plus I'm in Qld.
Is there someone in NSW willing to get onto the Current Affair website and get this going? Someone needs to stop this guy, get petfood247 shut down and urge Mr. McDuff to find a new line of work.

OK, for what it's worth, I just emailed A Current Affair about this "shop".
Please help get this online "shop" shut down until Mr. McDuff can deliver what he advertises, so that no one else loses their hard-earned money while trying to provide for their pets.
