I intend to buy a new car when i get home. I will use a third part to sell this car paypal or ESCROW.com. Let me know if you still interested in purchasing the car.

THis car scam is still going on. There are NINE Mercedes SLK,s currently being advertised on Friday-Ad all at stupidly low prices. The emails that we are getting from the "seller" are the same as the ones posted here. All the email addresses are hotmail.com with different prefixes. All the mobile numbers are 07043 with various numbers added. Each car shows as 86.3 miles from my postcode.

I have reported the adverts to the Nationa Fraud Office and sent emails to Friday-Ad and Paypal. I havent figured out yet how the scammer gets the money

Hi,
Great, I will wait for PayPal's confirmation to start the shipping to you. Yes, the vehicle is insured during the inspection period.
Thanks, David

Hello,
I have today made the full payment and also sent a fax of my payment to PayPal, I made the payments to the two agent's accounts that they provided to me. I did not get any opportunity to chart to any of the agents , what I wanted to now is about the insurance when the vehicle arrives. If you have any information about that, I will appreciate if you share it with me.

Many thanks

Hi,
Yes, I got that invoice too, in my e-mail. They informed me that they are waiting for your rest of the payment. So you need to transfer the rest of the payment to the new PayPal account provided. I will wait for their confirmation to start the shipping to you.
Thanks, David

Hello Sir,
I have today made a payment of £600 to the PayPal agent and the money I was expecting was delayed, they told me that I have to wait longer latest is end of next week Friday 14th. I would therefore ask you kindly to give more time until Friday next week to pay the whole amount. On your side, they should not do anything regarding shipping of the vehicle until I pay the whole amount.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

Many thanks,

TONNY SSEMPAFU

Hi,
The car will be returned only if you will not want to buy it. You can contact PayPal through the chat option from your PayPal invoice. You need to transfer the payment to the PayPal Agent's Bank Account. I will be paid only after you will agree with my car.
I communicated on the chat with a PayPal agent and he explained me the entire process. You must transfer the payment £ 1,600, through Bank Transfer, to their PayPal agent's Bank Account:
PayPal Agent Name: Alexandru Gabriel Saru
Address: Flat 18, Yellowhammer Court, 26 Eagle Drive, London, NW9 5AJ, United Kingdom
Bank Name: Barclays Bank PLC
Bank Address: 247 Edgware Road, Colindale, London, NW9 6LS, United Kingdom
Account Number : 23765849
IBAN : GB33 BARC 2029 4123 7658 49
SWIFTBIC: BARCGB22
Sort Code: 20 29 41
So you need to go at your bank or you can do it from your PC if you have internet banking. Please understand that if you will use another way to pay for it, your payment will not be protected. If you need help, let me know, reply to PayPal, or chat with them.
Thanks, David

Hi,
I saw the correspondence from PayPal but there was no contact number and also they talked about me the buyer shipping the vehicle back to you the seller in case I was not happy with it. Those are the two issues at the moment and also the money is being paid to an individual/ representative of PayPal, and I hope this account is in Barclays bank.

thanks

Hi again and sorry for the delay,
Before leaving I had prearranged shipping and the payment with PayPal (the most secure way to pay and get paid) so my presence isn't necessary(The car is at our 23 Pioneer Regiment RLC based in Bicester, near Oxford). The Logistic Department will deliver the car to your home. The price includes all the shipping costs and insurance, so you won't have to pay any extra charges. Since I work with the Army the delivery process is not an issue, I'll have the car shipped at your home address in maximum 2 days.

Here is what I suggest: we will use PayPal services, you'll make the payment in an PayPal managed account trust fund ( they'll hold the money until you'll receive the car ), I will send the car over( the car will be delivered with the owner's manual, service records, and of course the bill of sale authorized and signed by me),I will offer a 5 day period from the day you'll receive the car , you can inspect it, take it to a mechanic to check it out, drive it and then if you decided to keep it, you'll confirm to PayPal the sale and they will send the payment to me. If, by any reason, you will not be satisfied with it ( even though I can assure you that it is exactly as described), you can return it at my expense for a full refund of your money, no questions asked .Please note, that the return of my car will be made, only after you will get your deposit back. I think this is more than fair for the both of us.

The payment is refundable, and is just a security measure, to make sure that the buyer is serious, and that I am not going to ship the car, and loose time and money. Your payment is 100% covered, because I have open a Trust Account with PayPal and if something goes wrong, you will get a full refund from my account. If you are interested to go ahead with the deal, please reply with your full name, phone # and shipping address so I can ask PayPal to open a case! After, they will contact you explaining all the details regarding the payment.
I'm looking forward to hear from you.
David

Hi All

I've just received the self same e-mails from someone calling himself Sgt. David Dawes, who is claiming to sell a Honda CRV with extremely low mileage and at a very low price. I suspected a scam as soon as Paypal payments were mentioned and by the poor standard of English in the e-mails.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions!

Debs :)

We came across the same scam. A mini being sold for 2400 even though book price is 8000. The scammer's email is [email protected] and he says he is a Sargent from the regiment in Bicester and now deployed in Gibraltor !! The poor English gave the game away really and the fact that the price was too cheap. I've emailed him back asking for some photos of his Mum.
Cheers
