It is perhaps best not to post the address you have but the phone number could be quite useful to others who stumble accross this.

Just want to say a big thank you to the people who have been telling their petfood247 stories in these posts. My experience shows that they're not scammers, but by god they need to up their customer service. I got heavy with them fast after I read these posts and it has seemed to work. I haven't received the order as yet but they have emailed me to tell me it's been dispatched.

My order hadn't arrived after a week so I started looking into it and found this site. I emailed the following to the following email addresses:

'[email protected]'
'[email protected]'
'[email protected]'

and got a reply from the [email protected] address saying my order had been dispatched. This is my email:

Dear Mr McDuff and staff,

I write in reference to order 5109, placed last Wednesday. The order has not yet been received.

On further investigation I have found your site is listed on http://www.scamwarners.com, primarily for poor customer service.

If you cannot dispatch the order within 24 hours, please cancel my order and refund the $162.23 debited from my credit card on 12/5/10.

Please either email confirmation of dispatch within 24 hours or confirmation of a refund, or I will lodge a dispute with my bank. I will also contact the Department of Fair Trading in NSW and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the Australasian Consumer Fraud Taskforce, as well as ASIC.

Please be warned: I have been duped by online companies before and I will not waste time waiting for you to respond beyond 24 hours.

Hi. I'm another victim to this pathetic mcDuff. Same MO, despatch receipt and registered post number if you ring him but of course both are BS. I think this guy carries no inventory and just orders from the wholesaler as he takes our money. Rung Fair Trade and yes. they're good for nothing. There's only one way to communicate with this guy and it wont get our money back but will stop him from doing pretty much anything else for the rest of his life. :bondage: :bondage: :bondage:

Hi

Just to let you know. I placed an order with them two weeks ago, and received my parcel (a small parcel with black light and Urine Off) within 2 days of ordering.

I saw these posts shortly after ordering, and wrote to the company asking whether I would get my parcel within a week, because if not, I would like to cancel. I got a response the next business day saying it was in the post, and it arrived the day after.

So it looks like they have their act together now.

Doh !!!!! I wish I read this sooner!!! I like many of you ordered pet food on the 30th May for apx $180.00.

To date I have tried emailing and calling. I've just sent an email to all 3 listed addresses demanding for my goods or a refund. Will let you know how I go...

Never buying from this %#$^$ ever again! :cry:

Hello i to have been duped by this Company, i ordered a medium houndhouse kennel on the 1/6 because we are going away this friday and need to travel with our dog and the company said delivery in 3 days. I paid by credit card and my money was taken on the 3/6. To this date i have sent 13 emails to the 3 different addresses. My bank can not launch fraud action untill 30 days are up. Now i have to go and buy another one from a shop because it isn't going to turn up. I have not even received an email to say that it's been dipached. Phone calls to this company remain unanswered or mailbox is ful. Not happy Jan

Hi Colnan, welcome to Scamwarners.

As you would have noticed by reading this thread there is good news and bad news for you, the good news is that eventually you will receive the goods you have paid for, the bad news is that going by recent form it is unlikely you will receive them by the weekend.

You could contact them about cancelling your order but they wont respond to that, if you absolutely have to have one for the weekend you could purchase the item from another company but in the end you will be stuck with 2 :cry:

I am the latest victim to PetFood 247!

I ordered on 3/6/2010 my credit card was debited $126.00 on 07/06/2010, they have not responded to any emails and the phone number 0450 078 884 attached to the website belongs to some poor guy that lives in Western Australia.

I have contacted my bank. I have emailed Petfood 247 again and given them 24 hours to respond and dispatch the products or I am going to gave the credit card transaction reversed.

As with most of you I wish I knew about this Company's bad reputation before I placed an order.

I have now recieved an email stating the items have been dispatched today at 11.46am 11/06/2010. Now I will wait and see how long it takes to arrive.

Meanwhile I have been on every website I can find and completed reviews on the company warning people not to Shop with Petfood 247.

Hello an update on my order, i have sent 15 emails to 3 different addresses without any replies. I sent a threatening one on the 9th and low and behold i get an email on the 10th to say that my order had been dispached, anyway it's to late i had to go and buy another one from Pet stock as we needed it by this weekend. Today is the 11th and suprise suprise no kennel, now i figure that we are about a 2 hour drive from BANGOR so if the kennel is comming by courier where is it??????? Dirt Bags like these should be put out of business, what is the government doing to help, nothing that's what. Very unhappy.

Yes once again I am another victim. I ordered everything our new puppy would need to take him through the next year of his life (yes $350 dollars worth) on the 3/6 and thought it would be sufficient time to receive the goods before the puppy arrived on the 11th....

After three days and no order arriving, I too emailed and got no response of course. Then I rang and got the full mailbox message and it wasn't until I rang the next day and got the same message that I started to really worry. Tried ringing every day and getting same response I decided to google them and to my horror this website came up.

Immediately sent a threatening email to the company and contacted the commonwealth bank about getting a refund and they have opened an 'investigative dispute' and had to forward all the correspondence between me and the company to them and all the details etc.

Later that night (last Thursday) I received a dispatch notice from the company and not surprisingly nothing arrived Friday and I doubt it will arrive Tuesday. Just a knee jerk reaction to my email. Had to go out and rebuy all the basics for our puppy. What a dampener to this exciting time for my husband and I and two small daughters!

The only comforting fact (if you can call it that) is that they don't take more money from your credit card, because having to reorder one of those would just be icing on the cake.

Will keep you posted. I too am in Sydney so the dispatched items should virtually be instantaneous so will let you know what the week brings.....

Like so many others who have posted on this website, I ordered a product from Petfood 247 in early June. A few days passed and I had not recieved the package so I tried to contact them but to no avail. I also conducted some research and came across this website. I was so disappointed to hear that for the sake of saving $10, I had become their latest victim.

I have tried to call the number on their website but keep getting a message saying that the "mailbox is full". After coming across this site, I immediately sent through a stern email demanding that my product be dispatched by COB Tuesday 15th and if that can't be done, I want a full refund to to be organised on Tuesday. I have also indicated that I will take it further by contacting the relevant government bodies as well as the manufacturers of the products they stock. So far I have not heard anything back and am not holding my breath. It is disappointing that they have continued to get away with this behaviour. Also disappointing for all of us who have ordered products and were looking forward to recieving them. What should be a smooth and easy transaction seems to turn into a real hassle for most poeple who deal with Petfood 247.

I will take further action if I haven't heard anything tomorrow. Will keep you posted.
