I found a Craigslist ad for an item ive been looking to purchase so i text the provided not-local number to inquire. I recieved a response awhile later saying to email them at provided email address because they were at work. To this point ive got 3 alarms going off with the phone number, the asking price, and this email part. So the today i get an email back that says the following.

Hello,

My 2006 Yamaha Banshee 350 with engine size 350cc is in excellent condition, never raced or abused,no accident,no loans,it has been very well maintained with extras. I am selling it at this price ($2,000) because I just went through a divorce with my ex-husband and when it has finished, I remained the owner of this atv. I have some financial problems right now, so I want to sell it asap and a fast sale can be done only at a low price. The transaction will be made through eBay for the safety of both of us.If you're interested to purchase just email me with your full name and shipping address, so I can notify eBay that you are selected as my buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.

I responded with an email requesting that she calls me at my google voice number and i get the following....
As I told you in my first email, I recently got divorced. I got a new job and moved to Nashville, TN for a new start. The atv is already at the shipping company in TN sealed and ready for the shipping. My presence won't be necessary because I prearranged the deal with eBay. The deal includes free delivery and it will arrive at your address in 3 days. You will have 5 days to try out prior to making any purchase and if by any reason you find something you don't like about it you can send it back at my expense. So if you want to make this deal I need the following details from you:full name and address, phone # and email address. After I will have all this details I will forward them to eBay and I will proceed this transaction. eBay will contact you with all the details that you need to complete this deal and also to see that I am covered by them and that I am legit seller.Waiting your email with the requested details.

Sincerely,
Sara Danette

I guess im trying to find the angle im being worked here or if its legit. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Hello Rugburn,
This is a common online listing scam. They will list a vehicle or other high dollar item well below the current market value. Common back stories, recent divorce, death in the family or in the military and about to be deployed.
If you agree to buy the listed item you will get an email that appears to be from eBay but in reality the email will be from the criminal gang the is running the scam.
Please post the email address and any other contact information being used in this scam.

It is ALWAYS a scam
If the pet seller or shipper asks for money to be sent via Western Union, Money Gram, any brand of gift card. Walmart To Walmart , Zelle , PayPal friends and family option, or mentions Cameroon
