Selabar Limited - definitely Big iPhone SCAM !!

Dear all, I’m regret to tell you all that I just met a iPhone scam… T___T only after get cheated then I read this scamwarners, it’s too late because I have been cheated $150, however thank God that I stopped half way otherwise will get cheated more...

The company is called ‘Selabar Limited’, here’s their website: http://virtualfreelancer.net/selabarlimited/, the guy is called Alex. They claimed that I only need to pay 50% upfront payment ($150) so that can get the iphone 4 16gb white then the balance can be paid upon delivery via western union, I asked them why they are so sure that i will pay him after get iPhone 4 16gb, they said if I am not paying them they will report police and insurance company will cover loss for them… (I am so stupid enough to believe him although I find many suspicious points but I am addicted to Apple and I don’t have so much money to buy an original one with Apple Store..

They keep email to me and told me that they will proceed the order immediately once I pay $150 via western union to them, I felt is too good to believe but I was really attracted by the iPhone 4 photo which they sent to me..they said they will send the package via FedEx, deliver to me within 36 hours from UK to Singapore. Below is the email they sent to me :

I have done research about Selabar Limited, but in google no one put their company as scam and anything…they said they are UK registered company, at that time I didn’t know about scamwarners (if I do I wouldn’t get cheated) so I just want to get an iPhone.. (this is a stupidity of human willing to do anything just to save few hundred dollars…)

Then i asked them, when can I get my iPhone if I make payment tonight..they said will deliver to you and you’ll get it within 36hours, will give me the tracking number as well there’s nothing to worry about…(that’s truly a stupid shit saying), they said I can get the iPhone on 2 days after (Wednesday) morning 9am, then I told them that I’ll be going to work at 9am, can make it earlier? They said ‘ok, make it earlier about 8am – 8.30am’ but I felt so weird because they can’t control the delivery time if they’re in UK using FedEx, so I called Singapore FedEx but they said they won’t deliver at 8am, normally will after 10am…now I felt myself so stupid, I already knew that they were scams, but I still stepped forward just want to try it out to get an iPhone 4…haiz stupid me.

Secondly, they said the iPhone they sell come with 2 years international warranty, but according to Apple terms and conditions, Apple doesn’t offer international warranty, and only limited to 1 year. So I told him about this, you see how ridiculous he replied to me :

You dont have problem with the phone at all the warranty works with singapore Ok....you can take the iPhone to any apple store near you to use the warranty also you can update the iphone...

After so many strugglings, i decided to give it a try, if it was a scam, then just let me use $150 to buy a painful lesson. After i made payment via Western Union, i asked him to confirm and acknowledge the payment then deliver the iPhone immediately. this is how he replied to me :

Oh My God ! He suddenly asked me to pay more S150 to his boss which located in Nigeria, i felt that i was cheated, the whole night i couldn't sleep at all, i felt myself sooooooo STUPID !!!!!!! then i told him that i really can't pay S150 more because i really don't have money, then he said :

Then i starting to google search the address : 120 Computer Village Nigeria...then i found this scamwarners website and felt so depressed ( but i knnow i deserve it )...

Just want to warn everyone who's looking for better bargain, don't risk your money just to save few hundred dollars, you'll pay more than that. Start savings now so that can buy a genuine original iPhone.

I paid $150 to learn a painful lesson, so that I won’t get cheated next time. Whoever read this post, just remind yourself always about my incident. iPhone 4 would never sell at USD200, 300 or USD 400 unless after years.

When they say Buy 2 get 1 ofree,or something like that,that is usually a scam,if u order 2 and get 1,u wont get nothing..
I ve got my trhread on scamwarners,about scam on Iphone and mobiles,see it : D

And just to learn u :

If they ask u to pay via WesternUnion,or MoneyGram,that s a scam..U send via WesternUnion just for family members.
Then if they say they re located in UK,that s a scam too,because they re usualy somewhere in AFRICA , and when they say that their telephone number is starting with 447(0) thats scam too. That s some basic info,about scams
