Yes, it is a scam. The check will be fake. The scammer will have you cash the check and send an over payment via Western Union or Money Gram to a fake agent / shipper. The scammer is the agent.

Your bank will cash the check initially. Days or weeks later your bank will inform you of the fake check. You will have to repay the money and possibly be reported for fraud.

We have also been scamed by Nicole last week. She sent $2,000.00 more than the item.The bank said it was a very good fake check she couldn't tell by looking at it. We all knew it was a fake but they are getting good. So beware when we first got these checks you could tell right away they were bad but they have become much more proficient at there craft.

This scammer is obviously still at work. She is using [email protected] as her e-mail. She sent me a message that is almost verbatim to some of the messages below.
