Hi all,
Hope somebody on here can help. I'm on the look out for a new car and I've come across one that's approx £5000 less than what its worth. it was on a well known UK trader site. My issue is that the car is located in South Spain and I'm in England. The seller has offered to pay the shipping costs for the car and have it delivered to my address. They have suggested that the money transaction goes through a finance company (yahoo) who will hold onto the money until I'm satisfied with the car. So, I pay yahoo finance the money, they hold onto it and when the car is delivered I let them know and they then transfer the money to the seller. This all seems to good to be true to me. I've offered to fly out there and drive the car back......but I don't fancy being beat up by 4 Spanish blokes! This is the link I was sent...

Hello sedge08!

Well as you said if it sounds too good to be true. This is 100% a scam. The website is a fake created 2 days ago. It will be reported to our site killers.

This is an escrow scam. You will be told to send the money more than likely through Western Union or money gram or in this case possible a bank to bank transfer due to the amount of money. The fake yahoo finance site holds the money until you get the car. The truth is your money is long gone in the scammers pocket and there is no car.

Can you please post the emails you recieved from the scammer along with any of the scammers details?

Justin
