Original inquiry from "Ryan Walter [email protected] via craigslist.org":
is your item still up for sale

The email address didn't raise any red flags, so I replied and said it was. I immediately received an email from "thomas will [email protected]":

Thanks for the reply i will like you to please mail me the condition
and final or the lowest price you can selling it off, so that i can
make a reasonable offer.and pictures of it to know that it is in good
condition,i want to trust you because that put me on roads for
something . I am a serious buyer. I wish i could do a normally local
pick up and face to face deal but presently i am out on an official
assignment and that is why i am offering to Pay you via PayPal. I have
been using PayPal to buy and sell for years now and i have never for
once had any problems whatsoever. i shall send Payment as so. Because
I am at the military base near Clarksville, TN where I do some special
trainings getting ready to be deployed. I want to deal with a serious
seller with the available and verified PayPal account. It would be no
problem for me if you just tell me that you have an account and you
will get back to me with your PayPal email address or you can set one
up at http://www.PayPal.com. We have a private pickup agent that will com for
it once the payment is cleared but it is only for US Army members
because I can't come to your area again to close the deal in person.
