Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

Hi all
looking for a bit of help please.
On 4th December i bought a coat from Solecoats on line.
I paid with a debit card and the money came out 2 days later. I got an email saying payment accepted. I assumed then the coat would be posted. After a week i heard nothing, (they said 5 days delivery) so i emailed them.
I got a reply saying it was shipped with DHL. I asked for a tracking number and they just kep t replying it was shipped and be patient! the broken English made me suspect this was coming from China. On checking the website which i should of done first, i noticed there was no address or contact number. Various emails sent back and forth but still no tracking number. Finally i was given a number yesterday which i checked online with DHL. The info came up as shipping information received but that was all so i rang DHL. They said all that meant was that information had been input online to generate a tracking number but no parcel had been collected for delivery, they said they have to ring and request a collection which they had not done. I asked if you can just input info to generate a tracking number but never actually send a parcel and they said yes. I have emailed them again and they said be patient, delivery in 7 days. DHL again have confirmed no parcel has been collected.
Just wondering if anyone has heard of solecoats or if they know if this is a scam, the email that replies is [email protected]

Many thanks in advance

roppa :Are you referring to

http://www.solecoats.com/ ? - A website created in September 2012 and is due to expire exactly one year later.

The chances are that you will either never receive your ordered items or (if you do) they will be 'replica's' of well known brands.

To amplify on my last post:

A website with a one year registration (which is the minimum period) makes a site very suspicious - no reputable company would register for such a short period.

The "Verisign Secured" Logo on the home page is fake - It should be 'clickable' and take you to the Verisign site showing Solecoats' credentials.
