Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

I have several items listed on craigslist and today I recieved several emails that were asking if I was a fraud and requesting me to reply to their personal email. The emails all have the same attachment with them and all have different email addresses for reply. This is an actual copy of one of the emails. I have not opened the attachment out of fear of a bug or virus.
"Enormous number of scams and I am frustrated. Validate u're safe to meet by writing me to my personal email address to talk more it is [email protected]"

"I am attracted. If u are for real say hello to my private email addy to [email protected]"

I have had 6 emails like this in the past hour. They look very suspicious. I replied to the first couple but not to the requested email but, stopped responding after 2, should I be concerned about responding at all?

If you receive an unrequested email from anyone, you have NO obligation to respond to them. If you are suspicious, trust your instincts and don't respond.

You are correct to not click on links in emails you receive. Too often they have virus in them. It is best to be cautious with emails you receive.

Thank you for your response. My main goal in this post was to report a possible scam and make people aware of these types of emails. I also wanted to make sure that these people cannot get to my personal information by simply having my email address. Thank you again for your response.
