When I pick up hacked car dealer pages on Autotrader UK they are frequently deleted within a day or so but I notice that some dealers aren't noticing that often their own websites are hacked too.

If the hackers have access to a dealer's adverts on external websites and its own website, they should investigate what else they may have access to.

CAR ADVERTS - If a car seller mentions escrow - he's scamming you Never ever for any reason pay anything until you have seen and inspected the vehicle

Usually in that case the dealer's site is also hosted by Autotrader - not in this case though. A warning to all about re-using passwords across accounts!
