And the phone/fax number they advertise is suspect I would suggest.
Wondering why they use a phone number beginning with 44 when other phone numbers from the same area do not.
The said website has a poor WOT rating.

This site hasn't been forgotten :) I have sent abuse reports a while back, but received no replies from the hosts. I've just sent them the 4th reminder, and I hope they will finally take action. Not to worry, I'm known to keep bugging people until I get what I want ;)

Account inactive - messages are not being monitored

hi, I just made a purchase on Alibaba.com, the Guy called to my home, he didnt sound Nigerian, he sounded like Jamaican, the order was shipped from the UK. via http://www.couriersolutionslimited.com .
Is it reliable compagny because he gave me tracking number. Look at the email he sent he talk really friendly like a muslim brother::::Email below

Asalam Alekwum brother,

How are you doing and business respectively?Hope fine!

Brother, sorry from the delay, but i was unable to ship your order yesterday because of the contraint of getting a government registered courier service,it's not located here in edinburgh,so i had to leave these morning to a neighbouring state(Alberdeen) here,so i can
ship your order via a reliable courier service to avoid custom duty charges when you get order.

Below is your tracking details and courier company contact, there was a little problem, because the warehouse manager mispackaged 15units of the samsung galaxy tablet and it had already been shipped before the stock registered was passed, but i really trust you and will want you to send the money for the remaining 10units as soon as you get order and sell.I made sure it was tagged as we spoke brother,15 Units of Wahl Deluxe Chrome Pro Clipper to avoid custom duty charges.

Tracking Number:943891004918
www.couriersolutionslimited.com

Thease are the detail, brother,i have checked after shipping the goods and your 15units galaxy tablet is in cuba,so by tommorow, you receive goods at Quebec.

Best Regards,brother

I'm sorry 514000 but this courier website has been constructed by an unsophisticated scammer who is unable to properly greet a Muslim brother as much as he is ignorant of the geography of the country he claims to be situated in.

It is beyond belief that any reputable shipper would suggest purposely mislabelling goods to mislead Customs. Any shipping company giving any hint they do that would be in very serious trouble.

You won't be receiving any goods and the website will shortly be shutdown from the complaint Michael has issued against them.

I'm sorry if you have been scammed by this person and am a little surprised you didn't think his greeting to you a little strange.

Shipped via Cuba ? - I don't think so.

Guys,
I saw the name Alibaba.com mentioned in the previous post. That site may be connected with some legitimate companies but many of them on Alibaba are fraudulent. Take care
by 514000 Sat Oct 16, 2010 6:51 pm
hi, fuck I got scammed for sure. He is using [email protected] as his email.

He uses Mr. ALWALID MUJAHID as his name on chat, and His picture looks like he is a rich Saudi businessman.

I sent payment to edinburgh, Uk to this person Aisha Wali. I asked him why payment to Uk not from Germany were I contacted him on Alibaba, he said its the compagny headquarters in the UK, and that the accountant who accept payments is in the Uk.

Man once i get the money i will track there ass in Uk, I will chop there heads !!!!

I will begin with a cusre spell confectionned by my sorcerer, lets make death a long one for them. Look at the scam , what he wants to continue. I just saw that he stated Us customs, I just knew it was a boggus transaction, because what the hell if there is any problem with my shipment i should have to talk with Canada Customs since I live in Canada, not Us customs. Oh by the way, I forgot to tell you that he contacted me several times, now he comes and tells me i have to pay him 2400$ for making him a international import license.!!! He talks jamaican, I said to myself probably he is a muslim convert and making business in middle east and europe, but fuck I should have relied to my intuition.

Last email:

Assalam Alaikum Brother,

Prior to our telephone conversation,I received a call from the Courier company today telling me that the Phones were placed on Hold at North Carolina by the us Customs.

I even got online with the us customs that held the goods, they said the only way they can release the goods is if we provide them with an Import License from the UK and also a Customs Clearance Certificate from the United Kingdom authorized by my company through the Uk chamber of Commerce and Industries.

Ordinarily, i felt you had an Import License, because it is normal that before anybody thinks of trading in the UK , he/she ,must have an import license .

As it stands now, what we just need to get now is an Import license and certificate of ownership from Our company through the United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce and i have evaluated the cost and it is worth $3,400,the import licence is 2,400usd and 1000usd for your certificate of ownership of goods.

My company board of directors had a meeting today regards this subject matter and they resolved that you MUST obtain the import license and the Customs Clearance Certificate and the resolutions are :

1. You pay $2,400,brother i dont really know what to do,i have prayed and seeked the face of almighty Allah and i dont know what to really do,all what i need to do now is to collect a loan of 1000usd and add to the 2400usd,so we can clear these order,so you sell off tommorow and pay the 3400usd which is needed to get the certificates and deduct it from the balance of money you owe us and you will pay for the extra phones that was Mispackaged and when you get order and sell you can pay up the balance,i had pleaded with the board of trustees and agreed to call my brother as regards to the current development and pay the 1000usd.

Your Prompt response is anticipated so that we can proceed with the deal, if not the more the goods stay in North Carolina the more it accumulates Due Mourage.

Just to add another observation... The real Courier Solutions company, (in the UK) I'm confident is a well respected and trustworthy company. But a sad fact of life that scammers use well known company names for the wrong reasons.
I know I'm detracting from the original post but regarding the frauds on Alibaba, see here.

I'm sorry to say 514000, that very little the scammer has told you makes any sense. He appears to be even more confused than his website and I doubt that I could educate him about the formalities of goods transportation if I tried.

You won't get your money back because he's a scammer and it's most unlikely he's located in the UK anyway.

Companies don't ever receive money by Western Union because WU only ever send money to private individuals, and the minute you do that, you know you aren't dealing with a company at all. Sending money to someone who has lied or misrepresented themselves to you is very unwise.

The latest idea of scammers is to make it appear that you can pay by card or bank transfer on their website, but switch it to Western Union at the last minute (or a personal bank account). If that happens, drop the order immediately.

Hi mn3a!
Welcome to scamwarners!
I'm sorry to say that yes, it's a scam.

44-7006-048-591 is a re-direct number. This means that the scammer is trying to make it look like they are in the UK but the phone number "re-directs" to elsewhere in the world. A quick google search of that phone number brings up many different results. It appears that that number has been used in many different scams over the years.

http://www.nationwide-couriers.net is a fake website set up for a fake company.

Would you please post an email or two that you have received from the scammer? Be sure to include the headers.

I think they will ask still money, whether it is possible to catch them at reception? After all they specify a city and a surname a name a patronymic? Where to you to throw off full my correspondence???
