it is the same guy...I am trying to find a rental in Miami and i had him send me the booking form and it looks just like the above form but hes changed his name a bit and the address and such it just doesnt have all the western union stuff about money wires...And he sent me this We will accept PayPal as our mode of payment for some reasons

And then when i asked him to send me some information on his company he tells me that he doesnt work for a company and that this is his personal property....

Yep, that is a scammer. The writing is distinctly African.

There are many things wrong with this scenario, but even the basics don't make sense.

Real property owners don't go around randomly mailing their keys to strangers. A legitimate property owner who rented out their property from a remote location, especially one renting their property by the night, would have a local agent of some kind.

Here we go again, same guy same responses, same rental agreements !!!
This is for a property in Key West Florida, the adress is 418 Amelia Street, Key West, FL 33040

Dose this look familiar ???? I bet so from what I have seen from others,,, Again thank you all for your posts !

I wont bother with posting the emails however, they are all the same of what I have seen on posts here,
I did however ask him to call, which indicated from the start a scam, the phone number he used was 904.383.4259 when he call it was as would be expected, he sounded like he could not speak english, and was on a cheap hands free set I could not understand, I told him to email information asked for which he did right away ???? I was 50/50 on this. He is either really stupid, or smart ??
unfortunetly for me, I was renting this for my 50th B day, and now he has really screwed things up since I only have a day or tow to try to find another place.

Thank you and everyone else, this has saved my 50th Birthday from a disaster,, however this guys just dosent give up,,, hes still emailing me,, lol,,,when time permits I will forward this documentation to Federal departments, Craigslist has all the links to report this type of issue to the FBI. Join in and forward your info, get at least one more scammer off the internet.
FYI years ago I had an online store (ebay) I did infact save an elderly woman from having her credit cards maxed out, this case involved US Customs, and they did make an arrest.
I love the internet and hope everyone else will go the extra mile to keep it safe as we can.

I so wished I had found this site sooner than later. This same man is also posting on craigslist Paris. Same emails as listed, same story as posted. Unfortunately we lost money to him. He is getting more clever as he sets up legitimate looking bank accounts. Does anyone have any info on how to report him?

FYI I recently had a friend tell me she was looking at similar ads and properties in Florida Keys like myself,,, she was shocked to to hear and almost sent money also,,,
