Hello edwincanalesv,

Thank you for posting these scam mails so that other people who google this scammer as you did can also realise that the scammer's story is untrue.

If you would like to post the pictures which were sent to you, you will find some instructions here, but if you need some extra help, please do ask.

Welcome here Mana.

Could you post that email here with the email address he is using? If possible with the full headers. If you don't know how to get the headers just ask.

hello david,
my friend those are exactly the pictures i got. i have a question, what can i do if i get another message from her?? i'm thinking about not answering but, what do you suggest??
by Chris Fuller Mon Jun 07, 2010 11:05 am
I'm not David, but I'm sure he won't mind me answering your question!

Now that you know that this is a scammer, the best thing to do is to stop all contact - don't reply to any more emails. The scammer might try sending you a few more, asking where you are, but you can just delete those, and they will stop. The scammer wants to trick you into sending money, and isn't going to bother to continue writing if you are not even answering any emails.

Sometimes a scammer will try sending you another type of scam - or the same type, but from a different email address and with a different name - to see whether that one will 'work', and whether you will believe it, and this time send money. So be on the look out for other scams too, even after weeks and months have passed.

thanks chris, your info has been really useful to me, now I'm going to be more careful.

Those pictures are typical photomodel pics, which the scammer stole from the internet. In most cases the scammer is male, so you have been writing to a man, not a girl. Sometimes these scammers ask their girlfriend, wife or sister to do the talking on the phone to make it more real. If you have more questions about someone who you think is a scammer, just ask.
Be carefull out there.
