Sorry, I have no idea where to post this question but one of my scammers got through the block and told me what he wanted from me and I am in the process of deleting that account now also but having problems doing such. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong with blocking them. He came through messenger this time and I put his and the others email addresses on the ignore list and clicked "Add" then clicked "Apply" and closed it out. everytime they get through, I go back to the ignore list and they are not in there. Please tell me how to get rid of them for now until I hear back from Yahoo about the deletion problem.

Thank you

I don't use yahoo messenger myself, but this is from their instructions.

Information Collection and Use Practices

* You can establish a messenger list within Messenger and be added as a friend to other users' messenger lists.
* By default, your online status, display image and nickname will be visible to other Messenger users that you instant message with or that have you on their messenger list.
o You can choose to appear offline by signing in as “invisible.”
o By setting and using the Stealth Setting options available in the downloaded version of Yahoo! Messenger, you can selectively appear online or offline to specific friends or groups of friends on Yahoo! Messenger for the Web.
o You can choose to appear offline and block a user from sending you messages using the Block option.

Thank you for your help. I still have the problem though. I have already blocked the senders in my email and in yahoo messenger but for some reason they keep getting through. i added then to the ignore list in " Prefrences" and I click add and then apply but everytime I go check on it because one gets through they are no longer on the ignore list. Where do they go?? I just need to know what i'm doing wrong here. It's just annoying when I'm doing something and then one of them pop up out of nowhere. I am still waiting to hear back from yahoo concerning the delation of the account but they are taking their sweet time about it. Please if anyone knows how to exterminate these pests for good, please let me know.

Thank you
