this was the second reply which i received from them.

and the most unbelievable thing is that the salary the benefits which is mentioned on the terms and conditions are way too much!! here i will paste what it was mentioning about the terms and condition!!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS


We would like to offer you the position of a receiptionist for a maximum period of 3 years.

You will be required and expected to work for every week (Monday to Friday). Every weekend, will be spent with your family or anywhere, as you would have the weekends off.
You will be paid an amount of (3000pounds) per month in arrears and an additional 300pounds for weekly allowance Additional hours (Overtime) will be paid at a rate as agreed between you and the school management from time to time.

Benefits
(1) Complete private room with private entrance

(2) Laptop 24hrs Internet connection

(3) Complete Full Bath

(5) Most weekends off (with the exception of occasional executive level dinners no more than 2 couples with at least 1-week advance notice).

Duties
(1)Always ensure that no visitor come in to the manager office without any genuine reason.

(2) You must be friendly with the visitors

(3) You must be of help to the visitors

(4) Discipline

Reasons, which could give rise to disciplinary measures, are as follows:
(1¬) Causing a disruptive influence in the firm is prohibited.

(2) Job incompetence is not allowed.

(3) Conduct during or outside working hours prejudicial to the firm interests.

(4) Unreliability in time keeping or attendance.

(5) Failure to comply with the firm reasonable instructions or procedures.

(6) Theft or other dishonest offenses will be dealt with.

(7) Drunkenness not allowed.

(8) Illegal drug taking prohibited.

(9) Child abuse or neglect highly prohibited.

In the event of a need for disciplinary action, the procedure will be:

First - a verbal warning.
Second - a written warning.
Third - dismissal without need for further notice.

NOTE: That any Activities of improper conduct will also be our concern too, you will be highly required to be of your best behavior (in or outside) as you work for the firm to protect our good name.

Accommodation/Feeding
As for your Accommodation and feeding, the school offered free accommodation to you as well as feeding also.

Traveling process:
You will be the one to shoulder the processing fee needed for your legal travel documents which must be through the firm accredited travel agency while the firm pay for your plane ticket and travel agent charges.

Vacation
You will have 3 weeks paid vacation after 4 months of work. Vacation must be negotiated in advance.

I didn't need the 2nd or third emails to know where this one was heading, though they reinforce what is happening.

It is a complete scam, and we have seen a lot of these. The "jobs" vary, but what is always the same is that they are always in a different country than the victim and the scam centers around the passport/visa.

Travel agents cannot get visas for people, but it doesn't matter, because there is no real travel agent involved either. And there is no job. The only thing that really exists is a scammer who is posing as both an employer and a travel agent. His "travel agent" character will demand money for fees, taxes, etc. to get your visa. Those fees will generally be required via western union, but occasionally by bank transfer. But if you send money, all that will happen in the end is that you will have no job, no visa, and no money.

Whenever you see this type of telephone number (+4470) it is masquerading as a UK number but it will actually redirect your call to anywhere else in the world. It is a clear sign that the person is a scammer who is hiding where they are really located, as you might be less likely to accept a job offer in the UK from someone who themselves is actually located in Nigeria. I can't be certain that that is the actual location of the scammer, but the style and poor spelling ("receiptionist") makes it the likely location.
