This character called me on my mobile phone telling me he had sent me an email with a business proposition and that I needed to check my mail.

When I saw the mail, I told him that I didnot want this nonsense and hang up.

I replied to his mail with the words "Go to hell you scum bag scamming thief."
He replied:
Mr ...,
This is not a scam. But is a deal, you and i can make it happen,
I will let you know what can be done to claim the fund.
Please take it easy with me, it will be fine soon.
Will wait for your mail.

Interesting. It's a typical Advance Fee Fraud of course, but they are usually sent out in bulk at random. As he has your mobile phone number, he already knew a bit about you.
Charles Soludo left the CBN about 18 months ago incidentally, but don't tell the scammer this. We don't want him correcting it.
