Hello I Need to know if this is a scam

Hello, I received an email form MARY DAVID she looking an au pair for her children... Here are her the emails he sent to me...

"Hello Nanny,Am Mrs.Mary am a Nurse, i found your address onaupair site, and i am interested in having you as my kidsnanny,my kids name and age rose 4 years and smith 2 years. Let me knowif you can start the job by early next month,and also how long areyou willing to stay in the United Kingdom? do you have a valid visa totravel down here. Get back to me if you are interested in taking careof Smith and Rose We will talk about your salary in my next mail.Awaits your response."

My response was....

Thank you very much for contact me and for thinking of me as your children’s aupair, I am interested in knowing about the job, salary, hours and everything, I just want you to know that I just have my passport, I do not have visa.
In wich part of Uk do you live? I also want to know how serious is this, because I receivd several emails of “families” asking for an au pair and when I search on the internet I found information that shows they were scamers, I am sorry for telling you this, I don’t want to be rude, but I am afraid because some of these people have pictures of me and is is kind of scary, so if I accept the job I need proves that this is a serious job, as a mother you can understand mine, she is sending her daughter to live to another coutry, with another family you know? That’s all I ask to be sure!
Hope this will be a different situation and we can work on the future, when do you need me to star working? Because for now I am workin here in Mexico and my contract end by the end of November and I will ve available until then, also I need to save money for my flight tickets, visa and the trip as well.
Please is you need to know anything about me, just ask.

Hi and welcome here. This is very definitely a scam. Please stop all contact with anyone writing to you about this. The scammer is playing all of the roles using different names and email addresses, including the supposed travel agency. The key to the scam is in this agency, this is not how Visas are applied for. Also, if you could include the information about the website for the supposed agency, we will look into it. It may be a legitimate site that the scammer is simply referencing in an attempt to look legitimate, or it may be a fraudulent site the scammer has set up to use for his scam. If fraudulent, we will report it to get it shut down.
