Seeing how usa.com is a free email account (comparable to hotmail.com) I don't think this will be a legitimate company, at best a very amateuristic one which I wouldn't trust.

The safest way is to deal with sellers face to face, buying electronics online can be very tricky.

They don't have a website posted on there tradeboss page. Although they are a top member I don't know if that makes a difference

Being a top member doesn't seem to be any guarantee of reliability. It's a higher grade of membership that has to be paid for.
Scammers like mail.com addresses like usa.com as they look good if you don't know any better. The bottom line is that there is nothing about this "company" that can be checked. All genuine businesses that trade online have websites. The lack of one plus the free address mean that it's not safe to order from.

I wouldn't expect most people to be as thorough as I am - but I enjoy a challenge, and proving that it's safer to avoid companies you've never heard of

We are a professional, sole proprietor online sales business, located in the City of Munford/Jonesborough, Tennessee and PAMPA TEXAS. We are currently in the market for buying and selling authentic third generation IPHONE/IPAD/IPOD TOUCHES/BLACKBERRY/DIGITAL CAMERAS.

I'm not quite sure how a sole proprietor business can be located in more than one place, but perhaps I'm being pedantic, but look here

Now it is a much grander institution with a CEO no less, with a different name, and a website too

and a business licence - which bombs out as unknown when you check it out on the Tennessee state website and GIANT adverts

I suspect that there is a genuine company at that location but there also appears to be at least one imposter making use of the same name.

The fact that scammers make use of the names of respectable companies makes it even more dangerous buying goods from the internet, and you need to be very careful.
