The only cost you pay the official UK lottery is £1, but you pay that when you buy the ticket.

There is nothing to pay if you win the lottery, but they don't contact you. You have to check the numbers yourself and notify them when you discover you have a winning ticket. If you don't have a ticket, you haven't won.

Under no circumstances do you have to pay anything to receive your winnings.
