it´s the SCAM!!!

Hi
We read your reply and once again we will like to repeat to you that we are looking for someone very friendly who is prepared to be part of our family and look after our child appropriately.
Your main task will be to care for our adorable kid, Jude. Occasionally you will do light household work like cleaning and ironing. You will take Jude to and from Kindergarten and also to play dates. He would be at nursery for 3 mornings per week at least in the beginning but this will be reviewed.
Jude is 6 y/o and he is easy going and only grumpy when tired. At the same time he needs a lot of attention. Although most of the time he is calm but he can be tricky and he always needs someone to say no whenever he's wrong.
The kid will have his playroom in the house which will have a TV and toys and to keep him relax you will have to encourage him to watch TV i.e. cartoon and other kids Channel.
You will be working for 40 hours weekly and we hope to pay £14 hourly plus bus ticket worth £35 weekly and we will also provide you with a mobile phone with some inclusive minutes each month and the rest would be your responsibility. We also hope to provide you access to our cars if you have driving experience but not all the time.
We will like you to start in 2 to 3 weeks time if it is comfortable for you but if not kindly let us know the date you are available. So do inform us of when you hope to join us and we will also appreciate if you can send us your phone number if available.
Waiting to read from you.
Cheer

It´s the SCAMMMMM??????????

Thanks for your interest to join our family. We are happy to hear that you are willing to join our family. We wish to accept you to our family as an elder sister to our kids. We need a young lady who will be willing to integrate into our family and participate in day to day activities like a member of the house. We are a professional family living in England. We are quite open happy and welcoming family. I am a manager attached to an Airlines and my wife is A DOCTOR attached to National Health Services in UK. I work away from home most of the time as I work for an Airline. We have two daughters and a son in the age group of 9, 11(Son) and 15 yrs and they are schooling nearby. The eldest daughter and son are quite independent and go to school alone and manage most of their work. Our kids are very active and they all enjoy music, drama, tennis, swimming, cinema etc.

We need you to take care of youngest daughter mainly. She still needs someone to be around when we are at work, take her to school arranging the lunch after school. My wife is doing most of the cooking and if you like can cook for the kids occasionally. We need you to take care of general housekeeping such as cleaning, vacuuming, and ironing of cloths. Most of the time when kids are at school you will be free and if you wish you could go to a language school to follow a course or go to the nearby library. In the afternoon you need to pick the daughter from the school and provide them lunch. You can also help to do homework if there is any. I am sure you will enjoy the company of the youngest daughter and she will be a very cheerful girl to be around.

We will provide you free comfortable lodging, we have a three bed roomed new house and will be giving a separate room for you. You will have access to internet. We live in Aylesbury which is 35 miles north of London. It is a modern beautiful city. We are close to Gymnasium, Shopping Centre, and Theatre, station, bus stand and Language School all within 01KM. I am sure this will be a good opportunity if you like to explore the London. We need you to work around 25 hrs per week. We like to pay 65Pounds per week. You will be free during weekends.
We look forward to hear from you and willing to accept you as our elder sister/family member. We hope you will enjoy your stay with us and will make sure you have a pleasant and happy stay at our home. We would like to have you with us from 10Dec. 2010 for 12-24Months. Pls let me know if you are accepting our offer or have any concerns. Please send few of your recent photos. We are close to Luton and Heathrow airports both are one hour away from our home. We would like to hear more details of you.

Have a nice day,

Bye,

Upali

There are certainly clear signs making it suspicious that these replies are actually from scammers who originate from Africa. I won't point out their errors and faults as they are able to view this forum and pick up tips on how to improve their mails.

If you are a non-EU citizen then you need a visa to work in the UK as an au pair, and professional people in the UK will be aware of this and mention it in their first mail before offering you a job. It's most likely that these scammers will offer you a way to get a visa that is a fraud and is just a way to steal money from you.

If someone offers you a job BEFORE settling the issue of your visa, then they are most likely scammers.

The tactic of the scammer is to get you thrilled and excited before offering you a solution to the visa problem which involves paying them money, though they will pretend you're paying someone else.

Non-EU citizens should go here to find out about obtaining a visa to work as an au pair in the UK

Whenever payment is requested by Western Union you're dealing with a scammer
