But...I'm not so sure it's real!

We have decided to find an au pair because we need help looking after our child. We are looking for an au pair to be a big sister to our child and to become another member of our family. Your pictures are very lovely. We hope that all goes well as we would like to consider you for the position. What is your full name?
My name is Richard Miles and I work and reside here in London with my family (Wife and two sons Daniel and Dylan). My spouse Benita Miles is thirty three years old and works as a Nurse.
We live in a four bedroom house in London and have two sons as you can see from the first pictures we sent to you. Our kids like to go to the parks once a week and we would like you to take them.
We will require you to take care of them for about 30hrs a week. You will have weekends free and we will pay you £550 per week pocket money which we will give to you every Friday.
Our residence is very open and near the city and there are other au pairs close by. There is also a good language school and we will encourage you to go for lessons there to learn English or any Language if you wish to. In the area there is one pub full of young people, a shop/post office and a hall where people get together to have parties. There is also a bus stop outside our house with direct access into the city centre.
You will have your own bedroom and your own bathroom either live in or live out fully furnished , plus deskphone and computer system with internet.
We do not have any pets and we do not smoke.
We need an au pair to start with us soon and stay until at least 8 months or more. We will need you to drive our second car if you can and we shall arrange some driving lessons for you when you arrive. You may use this car for taking our kids to school and for your private use.

For how long can you stay?
I do not know if you have live and worked in the UK before, however it is better I make inquiries about that here as your Employer so that we can be on the safe side.

We would like to invite you and your daughter to the United Kingdom and also offer you the position of Au pair to our kids, Daniel and Dylan for a period of 9 Months at our home here in London, United Kingdom. The terms and conditions of the job are as follows:
Hours
You will be required to work for approximately 30 hours per week. Every weekend, will be spent with the family or anywhere you wish, as you would have the weekends off.
Accommodation:
You would have a Private Live-Out or Live-In Accommodation depending on your
preference with Private Bathroom, Sitting Room and Bedroom. Your room would also be
furnished with a Television Set, an Internet Ready Computer System and a Fixed Landline telephone. We ask that all rooms be kept tidy and that friends staying over should only do so with our permission. If we go out as a family, you will generally be invited to come with us (at our expense) should you so choose.
Duties and responsibilities
Your main duty is the due care of Daniel and Dylan. You will be required to get them ready for the day, get them to their various schools, collect them after school and see to their needs in the afternoon. You will also be required to assist with homework, bath and change as required, arrange visits with friends, see to after school activities, play games together as well as anything else that may be necessary for their amusement, growth and wellbeing.
Salary
You will be paid an amount of Five Hundred and Fifty Great British Pounds (£550) every week by cash or paid into any financial institution that you would designate. Salary would be paid in currency of choice however this is subject to existing exchange rate.
Start Date and Period of Employment:
You are expected to start when you arrive here to stay for a minimum period of 9 months. If due to circumstances beyond your control or for any other reason, you wish to leave at an earlier date than our agreement, you will be required to give one month’s notice. If we require you to leave, subject to the conditions specified under ‘discipline’, we will give you a minimum of one month’s notice.
Discipline
Reasons which could give rise to disciplinary measures are as follows:
Causing a disruptive influence in the household.
Job incompetence.
Conduct during or outside working hours prejudicial to our interests.
Unreliability in timekeeping or attendance.
Failure to comply with our reasonable instructions or procedures.
In the event of a need for disciplinary action, the procedure will be:
First - a verbal warning.
Second - a written warning.
Third - dismissal without need for further notice.
Reasons with would give rise to summary dismissal would be:
Theft or other dishonest offences.
Drunkenness.
Illegal drug taking.
Abuse or neglect.
Vacation
You will have 3 weeks paid vacation after 4 months of work. Vacation must be negotiated however, well in advance..
School
You will be enrolled at a Public School if you like to attend a course in any language of your choice for foreigners or at any other training school for the duration of your stay if you like.
