Hey guys,
What are your thoughts on the following company:
Curacao Digital International.
http://www.curacaodigital.com/index.html

They are ostensibly wholesalers of laptops. They have been authenticated and verified by exporters.sg, a prominent B2B website that I happen to use. I contacted the credit rating agency used by exporters.sg, Asian CIS, and they confirmed that the company is indeed registered, thereby precluding misrepresentation or non existence ( I.e being a fictitious company).

Needless to say, both exporters.sg and the credit rating agency are at pains to point out that this does not constitute an endorsement.

We usually deal with out and out scammers sarfarazali and the company you mention doesn't appear to fall within that category.

Of course, that doesn't mean that a company is reliable or able to perform as it claims, and that's much more difficult to know with certainty.

The proprietor appears to own another company on Curacao and looks to be more of a general trader.

The question you have to ask yourself is why this company is able to supply the goods you want at the price he's offering. Curacao is not on the main highway of world trade and often goods going to places like tha are sold there at a premium. I wouldn't go out in to the countryside to buy electronics as I'd expect the best deal to be where there's a big market.

He's a businessman and has done what a businessman does in grabbing your attention. You need to dig a little deeper and proceed cautiously, but whenever you do business with a stranger, that's what you have to do.

Personally, I wouldn't go searching for unknown companies from whom to buy electronics (or indeed anything) having seen how many fakes and scammers there are out there, and you have little recourse if anything goes wrong.

This company appears to have passed your basic enquiries but from a practical aspect you need to check that, if it is offering good deals internationally how well is it functioning in its own domestic market. It wouldn't make sense for it to be offering great deals internationally and yet not be making any impact locally. It should be easier for the company to sell locally and, if it has access to the goods at the price it claims, then that ought to be the general market price for those goods locally.

Find a major electronics store on Curacao and check what their prices for the goods you're interested in are. If they're not equivalent then you you have a reasonable question you can ask this supplier. If he's offering the goods locally at the same price as he is internationally then local prices should be similarly depressed.

It's the risk of dealing with a company at 'arm's length' and for a one off purchase it's not usually worth it. If you're considering setting up a business relationship, then it's best to visit and check the person/company out 'face to face'.

Here is another person from TAGGED sending out spam to people .
I think the crux of the matters are the claims to be cheaper than anyone else, and there are millions of them doing that.
Now at some point maybe they will give them away for nothing? Or actually pay punters to remove them (I accept WU transfers to carry out this service  )?
But seriously-- Note the very dodgy English.
I think the clue here is that you are made to expect something for nothing and as we all know "IF SOMETHING SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT PROBABLY IS"
