The deceased account has been declared dormant since 2009 and these funds will be
confiscated/declared unserviceable and turned over to the Board of Central Bank Governors of West African States if the deceased business associates or next-of-kin did not come up to claim this money; since all efforts to trace any living relative of the deceased proved abortive.
Especially now that United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, Africa's global bank has acquired 56.4% shares previously owned by the Government of Benin Republic in Continental Bank of Benin thus brightening the optimism of its commencing full scale banking operations in the French speaking West African country.
