Scam.

Does the below email look familiar? It already made another scam site a couple of days ago. There are lots of ways to verify this is a scam, but the first obvious one is the gmail address. Anything from t-mobile should be @ t-mobile.co.uk Your "reply-to" email may have changed, as the original catcher address may have been closed down for scamming, but no doubt it is from a free email service of some kind.

Yes. Lottery scams are very common, and you'll be asked to pay various fees before you can receive the imaginary prize.
We have a forum devoted to it.

Are you a customer of T-mobile?

Have you entered by physically filling out any form to be part of a draw?

If either answer is *no*

It's a scam

Hi and welcome to Scamwarners.

If you still believe you may have won a prize from T mobile, take a look at their website http://www.t-mobile.com/ according to the email you recieved, there is a half a million dollar prize, wouldn't you think their website would have some mention.

Also as suggested, this is a very large organisation that deals with communication, they would not contact you from a free email providor.

One of my favourites for finding proof of these scams is to search on the ticket number that they give you, I haven't found one yet that doesn't get some scam related results

If you have any information that is different to what is posted, pelase add the details here for any future people to find if they happen to do a search.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have
