That is the ONE who has been in touch with me,I've had emails, phone calls,text messages from this person and others who he is working with. Wanting me to send money to them through Western Union.

Welcome to ScamWarners MJHemmings. The best thing for you to do is to stop all communications with this scammer. Nothing good can come from you continuing to communicate with him.

Block his email address and move on with your life.

Also collect the numbers they use and call your phone provider they should be able to block the text messages and phone calls from coming thorough.

You might be able to do this on your own, if you can, do so ASAP.

I've stopped speaking to these people, but who do I need to inform about this scam?

there's no point reporting it officially, unless you've actually lost money. And even then, the police will do nothing apart from recording it for statistical purposes. Internet scammers are beyond their reach.
