Polfrost International...is this a SCAM???

I was on craigslist and I saw an add for shipping help. So I e-mailed my resume and so then the E-mails began. Can you tell me if this is a scam?

You will receive 3-15 packages per week. We offer you $20 for each shipped out box. We will pay for all mail expenses.
We pay on the 25th day after first package received.

Persons who will be accepted for this job will follow these simple instructions:
- Receive the correspondence from our company to his/her residential address.
- Report to our manager about new packages (Every candidate will be included in manager’s lists.)
- Receive prepaid packages and shipping labels.
- Ship the packages out using the specified shipping method (at this time we use mainly EMS; every USPS office can ship it with EMS Global Express.)

You see, this is an easy job, but your commitment is very important for us and our customers. This job does not require any special education. Hi villiarmossa,

yes, this is most definately a scam. It's a reshipper scam: the items you receive will be purchased with stolen creditcard data, and you will be asked to send them abroad. If law enforcement traces down the package they will end up at your doorstep, and not the scammer's. It is most definately something you don't want to get involved with.

Could you please post the email addresses the scammers are using, so others can find them as well? Thanks, and well done on spotting the scam!

I also responded to this ad on craigslist in San Diego and unfortunately I have received two shipments from them. They purchased an AK pistol grip and some kind of optics tool for COMBAT weapons. Very shady. Needless to say, I am going to contact the police. Polfrost, or whomever they actually are, has said that they can send anything from "apparel to perfume." They had an outside person who supposedly resides in Brooklyn purchase these items. This is definitely a scam and hopefully you will not choose to respond to them like I did!

That sounds very serious, and contacting the police is the best move. Out of curiosity, where did they want you to ship those items to?

I have no idea! This morning before I got the packages "Liza Razecki" emailed me saying that as soon as I received them to email her, and she would respond with shipping instructions and a prepaid shipping label. Had noooo idea that those scary items would be in the packages! The person who purchased them got them from Cabela's online outdoors store. I don't know where to, but they are definitely looking to ship their stuff to somewhere outside of the US.

And there's no need to ask them for that information. Don't contact her, ignore all future emails. Don't delete any of the mails you received as they may be used for evidence by the police.

first one was an iphone second was a apple timecapsule--3tb

i have a third in my home now thats not shipped which is a parker(clothing /jacket)

I wasnt falling for this one!

What should i do now people....help

You need to stop communicating with these people. Stevedoring is not sending one item to an address, then having it forwarded on.

I don't know what country you are in. You are receiving property that was purchased using false information, probably stolen credit cards. OR you are receiving goods sent by victims to you to send on to the scammer or their gang. You are the middle man to keep such items from going straight to the scammer. You are a layer of protection for the scammer and if there is a problem, you will be the one who has to answer to the authorities.

I am not an attorney. I personally would go to the authorities with all of the emails I had received and all of the information that was sent to you and seek their advice. I can't tell you what you SHOULD do. That is what I would do.

I do encourage you to stop dealing with them on any level.

Hello "why me huh"

As already indicated, you might have a problem here. The goods that you have forwarded on have no doubt been purchased with stolen credit card details.

When the true owner of the account realizes that he has been charged for something that he didn't purchase there is every likelihood that the initial delivery address will be traced by Law Enforcement - and that will be yours! You may be investigated for handling stolen goods or (even worse) money laundering.

The advise here is for you to go to the authorities and explain exactly what the situation is before they come knocking at your door asking you some very difficult questions.
