Is this a scamer?

I am talking to this girl or suppose to be a girl and she is asking for a picture of my check and is wants me to open up a bank account so she can have some money put in it. she said that its from some money that people was suppose to pay her daddy but he past away and she get the money. I am still talking to her but every time she reply's she says babe or baby. and some of the words are miss spelled. she also emailed me a picture of her passport . I looked at it and it is up to date.She said she had to get it because she had to the UK . She also said that she wonted me to help her get her dads assets that's he lost when i past away. Does this sound like a scam or just a real person?

That's certainly a scam. Scams featuring widows or orphaned children asking for help getting inherited money out of their country are very common. The "help" always involves the victim sending money to the scammer. Commonly known as advance fee fraud.

Also, one note about the bank account information request. Occasionally a scammer really does want to put money in your bank account. When they do, the money they want to put into your account is stolen. They want to use your account to transfer that money, and then either have you send it to them or transfer it to another bank account. Either way, this is money laundering, and when the police are contacted about the stolen money, the trail will lead straight to you--leaving you possibly facing some serious jail time as you can be charged for the crime.

so i been texting this chick Jaison Moravec and she says she needs a next of kin to get this money the government owes her dead dad. instead of baby she always says babe. she says she wants my bank info so this lawyer billy harry can put this money into the account. this bitch can't spell worth shit. and she aways text me "am here now" to start a conversation. It is really best to stop all communication with the scammer. Undoubtedly, you have shared personal information with them that they could use to hurt you and your reputation. Scammers are really criminals and should not be messed.
