Check for fraudulent lottery mail

I got a mail from From: Microsoft Corporation <[email protected]> saying that
"congrutulation! on our lottery program as you were approved to claim the winning amount notified.

Microsoft Corporation, hereby inform you the process of claiming your winning sum of £1,000,000 (One Million Pounds Sterling), as your email address was approved by our Java Internet Software as a winner.

Due to international standard we need to send your winning prize by a Sealed Diplomatic Parcel by a foreign diplomat who would come directly to your country India.

For information and details about the Diplomat and Arrival date check below:

Date of Departure: 20th of June 2011
Arrival Date: 21th of June 2011

The name used for dispatcher officer is Mr. Terry Smith

I just want to verify that if it is fack or genuin mail?

My intuition says that it is the fack one so If I am right then it will help others to identify any similiar mail as a fraud.
