We are going to arrive by the end of this month,You will start working on same day we will be arriving. You will help us to clean the apartment in the morning of our arrival date, I will tell the estate agent to mail the keys to the apartment to you so that you can be able to clean it on the day before we arrive. I want to know if there's any equipment that you will need me to provide, if there's any let me know how much it will cost. I will be going to Finland as soon as possible,so i like to secure your service, I will like to pay the first two weeks before our arrival, I will like to send you a check to you before i go to Finland, I hope you are okay with that....

Welcome to Scamwarners.
There's no way of catching scammers, unfortunately. From the wording, he's West African, and likely to be in a Nigerian Internet cafe. Beyond the reach of your local police, who won't be interested in investigating. Especially when you haven't been scammed.

Welcome pixiemarie,
I'm glad that you realised it was a scam, and thank you for posting this warning! It will help other potential victims. :=)
Now it's time to drop the scammer. Obviously he has some information about you - name, email account, ... and when he finds out that you are messing with him he just might decide to retaliate. For instance, he might harass you on the internet. You don't need to gather more information from him, he will tell you lies. And he probably operates anonymously from a cyber café in a country where the police couldn't care less. You already did a great deal towards making his "job" more difficult by raising awareness, and you might consider talking to friends and family about the dangers of internet scams.

Edit: Hi Arnold, you are sure fast!
