Thanks for your response and I am glad to read from you as regards to the driving job.My name is Michael Gordon and I am from Ireland. It is my pleasure to bring to your notice that my wife Phyllis and I will be coming to NewJersey for Holidays. We will be going to leisure spots, cinemas etc. we will be spending 8 weeks so we need a driver to ourselves. After getting your response, I and my wife will prepare a structured out work schedule for you that would not be too stressful.

We would like for you to confirm the following questions :
**************************************************************

1.Would you be available to drive us during the weekends, basically on (Fridays and Saturdays) or (Saturdays and Sundays) and one other weekday?
2.Where do you stay ?
3.We would need you twice a week, would you be able to offer 8 hours each weekend ?
4.We would need you to drive us for two shifts each weekend. what i mean by this is that, we would need you to tell us whether you would be available for either (morning and afternoon) or (afternoon and evening) or (morning and evening) 2hours each shift .

You would also pick us from the Airport and I will tell you the name of the Airport as we proceed. Our arrival should be in 3 weeks,I will confirm our precise ticket date and let you have the details and other itinerary in due time. We will prefer to get you a car and you will make yourself available twice during the weekend for our schedule . We will be spending 8 weeks and I am offering you $250 x 2days 3D $500 weekly.Kindly get back so we know if you will be available and also to know your schedule.
Regards

Michael Gordon

Yes, this is a scam. It is an employment scam in which the scammer will want to send you fraudulent checks.

An internet search for the lead in sentence:
Thanks for your response and I am glad to read from you as regards to the driving job

shows many other close variations of this type of "driving job" scam. There are many examples on this thread at Scam.com: http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?t=45493

Stop all contact with the scammer and let us know if you have any questions.
