This is another Advance Fee Fraud (419 scam).

Dear Dear Sir/ Madam

I am Barrister Emma Chiedu, (LLB) of Emma Chiedu Associates, Legal
practitioners, a solicitors, investment and property consultants, I got your contact email address through the Calabar chamber of commerce and industry via website in a search for a person whom my client can jointly invest and trust in and also solicit a honourable partnership with.

My client has interest to make huge investments in your country in
areas that are profitable particularly gas project, and the investment will be under your care pending when he will join you.

The said fund amounts to Eight Million, Five Hundred Thousand Dollars only (USD8.5M only). Procurement of assets and eqiupments will be total carried out by you. This transaction will result in you being paid thirty percent(30%) of the fund as commission before the money will be invested and you will be entiled to certain percentage as share on the investment which will be agreed on with the investor on receiving your sincere response.

The investor desire absolute confidentiality and professionalism in the

handling of this matter.
We need your response as soon as possible as you will be contacted by the investor for proper intimation.

This time the barrister claims to represent a possible investor.
NOTE:
1. The email is not directly addressed to a specific person, despite the claim to have found your name via a chamber of commerce.
2. Neither the country pf the Lawyer, the Investor, nor you is mentioned.
3. The full address of the Lawyer is not given.
4. The investor expects you to pay out for equipment etc.
This means you will be paying out for all sorts of fees, which is the intention. There will be no transfer of the funds to you, only the transfer of fees by you.
