It was wise of you to stop communicating with them. I am 100% positive that the hotel would have a custom email address, not a Yahoo email address.

I am also 100% positive that a division of the British government does not use an email address from @london.com, which is a free email provider like Yahoo.com. Below are some of their offerings:

* mail.com
* email.com
* usa.com
* consultant.com
* myself.com
* london.com

* europe.com
* post.com
* dr.com
* lawyer.com
* engineer.com
* techie.com

* linuxmail.org
* iname.com
* cheerful.com
* contractor.net
* accountant.com
* asia.com

* writeme.com
* uymail.com

Scammers can and do used these domain names to trick victims.

You are dealing with a scammer. Just drop them and move on. I would also contact the agencies who issued your Identifying documents and let them know you sent them to a scammer but didn't know they were a scammer.

I wish you well in your job search.
