The website was only registered for one year, which is a classic sign of a scam...

These charities are very hard to verify. I've taken a look at it and this is what I think of it:

*No address, phone numbers on the site. Not even a country.
*They don't say what they actually do - I don't see any actions or any plans.
*Companies/charities/organisations that resolve to spamming to get their product/service out to the world should generally be avoided.

Do note that they don't ask for money (yet) - "become a member free". If there are no hidden fees or payments I see no problems with it.

If they do ask for a payment and you want to spend money to charities, you might want to ask yourself whether this one would be the best choice.

I wouldn't send them a $1 but I see no clear cut evidence of a scam. It's a one year registration and everything mentioned above is shady but from my searches all of the content on the site seems original. So if it's a scammer he's smarter than the average scammer.
