Please, is it a scam?

I recieved this job offer but I think that it is a scam .Can you help me please?

We are delighted to offer you employment in the position set out in the attached contract of employment. A soft copy of the contract letter is enclosed for your retention, please review this offer of employment, sign the note of acceptance and return to us on email.

You are requested to report at our office on the 27th of February 2012 in approval to your appointment. This is to inform you that this letter will be null and void in case you do not report at the date and time specified in this letter.

As per our Hospital policy, you will be on contract for a period of 3 Years (Renewable) and then, based on your performance and review you will be taken to the next level of employment in the organization. During your contract period you are entitled to take 30 working days annual leave. In cases of emergency for any extra leave requests however the decision will be upon the management.

Ensure that you read and understand the attached document, whereby you do not understand any word or paragraph kindly contact us via phone or email for clarifications.

Yes it is a scam. The website is a fake and has been copied from another legitimate site. I have now passed on details of the site to our site killers to have it dealt with.

They state copyright of 2010
The telephone numbers that they use are redirect numbers that look like UK mobile numbers. They can be anywhere in the world.

However, the domain name "starlanemedicalcentre.com" has nothing to do with the centre and the real centre uses a normal land based telephone number: 020 7476 4862 or +44 20 7476 4862 .

The scammers are also using a fake solicitors to obtain the advance fees. They are - D.W. Roberts Solicitors <[email protected]>

Here is an email they sent laying out their fees

The Affidavit of Guarantee serves as an employment agreement bond which simply stipulates that the prospective employee will honor the duration of his/her contract with the employer.

You are required to forward your;

1. Entire qualification certificates and academic credentials to us for certificate attestation.
2. Form of Valid Identification (International Passport or National Identity Card)

We shall procure these documents from the Ministry of Justice here in London as you desire. However, you shall also be responsible for the payment of;

1. Oath Fee: £355 GBP
2. Certification Charge: £220 GBP
3. Legalization/Approval Charge: £345 GBP
Total = £920 GBP

Attached to this message is the Ministry of Justice Affidavit data form, please follow the steps to fill in the detailed information.

- Print out an ENLARGED copy of the application form.
- Carefully read through it and fill in the required information.
- Scan the completed form and send back to us on email as an attached file.

Payment should be made via any of the following means;

- Western Union Money Transfer
- MoneyGram Intl Money Transfer
- Bank Transfer

We shall provide you with our payment details and directives upon the confirmation of your desired means.

Please send us scan copies of the required documents via email as we do not receive documents via post or courier service.

The email address used by the fake solicitors is fake and I am currently obtaining additional information to get it closed down.

And the phone number +44-7045792419 has previously been used in an employment scam and a fake lottery scam dating back to 2009. The exact same phone number is clearly seen in connection to SIEMENS OIL AND GAS and you guessed it, another employment scam from 2009.
