I won't write any names here as it may be dangerous for me if someone from the wrong side starts to read it. I've been taken by a perfectly arranged scam. I've taken a lot of time to investigate and to try to find out if the request was a scam. Additionally I received the lead by a colleague who met personally someone of the request and therefore I even had more confidence.
I finally lost a lot of money and am considering of starting to really to fight back. Or to help to prevent other from doing stupid things. Even if that costs again. The scammer is still active and therefore chances may be here to try to catch these guys. I kept all communication and could report but I hesitate to do it here. I prefer to get in contact with someone who could help.

PS: even tough my Ip address seems to be from a strange place: I'm real.

Is it Possible that someone contacts me to discuss the matter before posting more?

For all who thinks about fast money making: Go to your bank and ask for a credit. It's more sure and safe.
For any who thinks to make business over email and phone: The personal contact in the beginning of a relationship is still the best proof. Any travel costs are cheaper as loosing money by trying to avoid them.
Western Union is good to sen money to a friend you know since a long time but to no one else.

Welcome to ScamWarners magnavox. I am sorry to hear that you got scammed.

I am confused with your post. You say you don't want to post information about the scammer who took money from you because you are afraid. Then you say you want to go after the scammer and you know who he is.

The scammer also knows who you are and scammers some times are part of gangs, so you would not be going after one person but possibly a whole group of people.

I cannot tell you what you should do. I can tell you what I would do though. I would let it drop.

It is unlikely that you will really find the scammer.
It is unlikely that you would be able to do anything to the scammer if you found him.
It is unlikely that you could tie him to the scam.
It is unlikely that the police would try to do anything since scammers usually live in different country from where you live.

What ever your decision, I urge you to be safe on the internet.
