I am so grateful that I googled some key phrases before sending any money..... How could I have been so stupid!

Please do not feel stupid no one expects to be scammed looking for romance. Can you post the email addresses too? Both for the "General" and the original scanner who contacted you. This will help others avoid this scammer.

Sorry this happened but glad you did not loose money! Just stop all communications with the scammer and he will eventually go away.
