Hello Aupair,
My name is Engineer John Bright aged 39 Years and i'm a British who hails from Berkshire,London. My wife and i have been working in USA as a Telecommunication Engineer for the past 8 years until of recent that i lost my wife(mother of my two kids) to a fatal accident on her way to visit a friend. Her memory still remains in my heart and i could remember that i promised her to take care of our kids (Ciara and Sara) with my utmost best. I need an au pair with a big heart for kids to take care of my kids. Sara (girl) is 4 and half years old while Ciara is 2 and half years old. Let me give some details about my kids: Sara likes riding a bicycle while LJ likes swimming. Both favorites food is fried rice with per-boiled chicken. sara is in level 3 while Junior is in level 1 at the Kindergarten school; they both attended which is not quite far from home. I live at 3900 Biscayne Blvd.,Miami,Florida,33137,United States. so the au pair service is needed in USA.The duty of my au pair is to help me in taking my kids to school and bring back home when they are through at school. The au pair should be prepared to be able to perform the following duties:She should be able wash and iron my kids'clothes only if our laundry is not around while she will surely be paid extra for any extra work.I will pay 4,000 USD per month (as the au pair salary) and 700 USD per week to the au pair for her own personal chores (use in buying anything she might need for herself during her stay) excluding the au pair salary. The au pair will start taking take of kids from 8 am to 4 pm till i return from office. The au pair is always free at weekend so he/she can attend any study of his/her choice. I have an apartment with internet facilities for the au pair to stay in my house. Regular meals will be provided for her as well without paying anything.I would be glad to assist any interested au pair concerning her traveling documents(Visa, Work Permit, Flight Ticket etc). Please kindly know that i need only the serious minded au pair and not the time wasting ones which would require me to pay all the expenses concerning their traveling documents. I would want to know much of my kids au pair so it will better if we could have a chat at the messenger. Interested au pair should kindly get back to me as fast as possible. I hope to receive your response soon.

This definitely reads as a scam. The spelling, grammar, and syntax is wrong in many places. I don't have time to do a full write up on why this is a scam, but please don't contact this person again or send any money. Another support member will be able to show you some real proof soon.

I'm also pretty sure that you can only Au Pair in the US if you use one of 12 agencies.

Just the first line alone says SCAM.

I do not know any person in England that would call themselves Engineer John Bright, it is a job descriptor, not part of a name.

*and i'm a British*, note the use of the lower case *i'm* and also *a British* neither of which would be used by any English speaking or educated person from England. The usual form is Briton, for a person from England, not *a British*

* Both favorites food is fried rice with per-boiled chicken* I'm not sure what per-boiled chicken is, but it doesn't sound like something that English children would eat. Also the syntax in the sentence is not usual, it looks more like an online translation.

The address is real, but it appears to be a tv broadcasting building, and the street view on Yahoo maps shows a modern building that is definitely not a residential building.

sara is in level 3 while Junior is in level 1

The childrens names seem to change, and also the use of a lower case *s* for Sara, and suddenly Ciara is *Junior*? Junior is always a boy

will pay 4,000 USD per month (as the au pair salary) and 700 USD per week to the au pair

I don't know the rate, but I think this is way too high, even the $700 per week as an allowance is too high.
There's a lot of other glaring inconsistancies, but even the few I've given are enough to state scam.

He doesn't even seem to know his own name either. Note how he signs off as Terry Williams

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

This can be tempting at first if you have no experience of online scams, but as well as the advice above, you can see what's coming if you look closely.

i need only the serious minded au pair and not the time wasting ones which would require me to pay all the expenses concerning their traveling documents

That statement is just begging to be followed up by a request for fees to secure your visa and other work permits. When he says he will be glad to assist in these matters, he means "Send me the money and I will take care of the paperwork".

This scammer should be avoided. Disregard his email and never contact him back.
