I am a Air Pilot and i travel all around the America and Europe due to my type of work and i am to resume at work anytime from now and i cant leave my children all alone cos I'm a (single parent) of two kids.therefore i saw your post that you will like to be an Au Pair soon, i will want to know where you are at present,your age and if you can start early i will appreciate it.
Since their mother is late i have to give them the best care so that their will not be anything the kids will worried about, if you are interested to be the Aupair for my kids, kindly response on time for futher details.

Hi Kyka,

Yes it is a scam.

The salary is far too high for an au pair and you do not get a visa by dealing with a 'travel agent' that uses a free webmail address for its emails.

Also, pilots aren't usually Doctors as this scammer claims to be.

The best thing to do is delete the email and ignore any others the scammer sends you.

This one is a particularly poor effort by the scammer and is very badly written.

The problem is when this is read by someone who is not a native English speaker themselves, then those errors aren't so easy to spot.

The pilot doctor issue is a dead giveaway that it's a West African scammer, probably Nigerian, as they like to make their scamming characters have a title that appears to make them more credible - like Pastor, Reverend or Doctor.

And just to add to the great information that was already posted;

It may not be completely clear what the scam in this is, but the scam is that 'the agent', which is most likely himself on a different email, will need payment for the "necessary documents you will need". He has already been so kind as to offer to pay a part of that himself - easy enough to say when he is just 'paying' himself.
