I am Mrs. Theresa Nkomo, the wife of late Mr. Christopher Nkomo from Zimbabwe. It is my intention to draw your attention towards the sum of US$7.5m (Seven Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars Only) deposited by my late husband with a security/financial company in Johannesburg South Africa with our only son Mr. Christopher Nkomo Jr. as the next of kin.

My late husband was the secretary of financial mobilization committee for Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) which is the major opposition party to ZANU PF of President Robert Mugabe and a successful farmer in Zimbabwe.

My husband was ambushed and killed in Bulawayo by youths loyal to Robert Mugabe because of his strong support for MDC. Prior to his death, he drew my attention to the sum of US$7.5m which he deposited in a security company in South Africa under our son’s name Mr. Christopher Nkomo Jr.

As a member of SADEC (Southern African Development Community), our passport allows us for a renewal of three months stay in South Africa, and does not afford us the legal right to invest such huge sum of money here, coupled with the good relationship that exists between Robert Mugabe and South African ruling party. We therefore, find it difficult to invest the money here nor withdraw it.
