The 92F that is your MOS? I don't mean to interrogate you. It's very
hard when someone out of the country appears to be interested. Let me
tell you why I asked the questions. One of my best friends...or used
to be...her mother (who is 83) behind my friend's back was chatting
with this guy. I know right at 83. Well...my friend, Renee, didn't
find out about it for a year and a half. Well, by that time her mother
had been sending this man in Ghana...half of her pension. The worse
part is Renee had been struggling to keep a roof over their heads
during this time. So I really hope you understand why I am moving
cautiously.

I could really like you a lot. I don't want to be hurt or hurt my
family. Nor would I want you to be hurt. I mean in all fairness I know
the scammers go both ways.

It was not long after this he started telling me there would be a fee $450.00. I told him I could not and would not pay it. So far he is still saying he will work it out. I really just want people to know if he is scammer and I really want to know if he's not. He states he is in the 92F in Vincenza, Italy, the Army base there. He says his name is Dean Marrymount Bernstein

It is a scam.

There is no such thing as a "leave fee." The moment a "soldier" tells you that you or he needs to pay a fee for leave, you can be certain that you are dealing with a scammer.

I was pretty sure. I also wanted people to be warned about this man.

I recently started talking with this guy...Dean Marrymount Bernstein on a dating website. He says he is in the Army in Vincenza, Italy. He "wants to come see me" says he applied for leave but I might need to pay $450.00. When I question him he doesn't get defensive he gets evasive. Here is part of our postings.
