i have been ask to send 550.00 for transfer on 14,400.00 dollars from aburi ghana and i would like to know if it is ascam

It is a very standard advance fee scam. These scams can come from anywhere in the world, but Nigeria and Ghana are some of the most common places.

Could you post the email that was sent to you? The same email was most likely sent to many people, and having it posted here can help others to learn the truth.
